It's not a treat.

My treat was a bar of chocolate - very happy 😃

Missingpop · 26/11/2022 18:48

Laxatives for when you’ve eaten to much; drunk to much but just cannot pass that Christmas bauble 😂😂😂

Notforbeef · 26/11/2022 18:57

If its the same as my "treat" its grapes

Mercyovermerit · 26/11/2022 19:05

I got an M&S farmhouse loaf.

JackandVera · 26/11/2022 19:06

I got nothing 😂

Womanofcustard · 26/11/2022 19:10

I’ve never heard of a Sparks card. I thought this thread was going to be about the band Sparks!

BatShitCrazyGran · 26/11/2022 19:15

Wtf is Sparks????

2023willbegreat · 26/11/2022 19:15

@Tryingtokeepgoing , I always swipe my Sparks card because each time 1p is donated to my choice of their charities, RNLI ( I changed to that one because of Farage). Sometimes I end up putting my food shopping through in three goes, so that’s 3p. Nothing to do with my seeing something I should have bought as I’m leaving the store, and going back to pay for it. Twice.

1p is very little, but they say they have donated £10 million in total to all their charities so far and it’s not much effort on my part.

MadisonAvenue · 26/11/2022 19:19

Nothing free on mine. I feel cheated.
Just a notification to collect an order, 20% off nightwear, 75p off when you spend £5 on cleaning products and 50p off when you spend over £3 on cakes.

Readinstead · 26/11/2022 19:37

I got a packet of Percy pigs, last month it was pears.

Solonge · 26/11/2022 19:40

Turnips?

askmenow · 26/11/2022 19:55

Thought you were talking about Haribo Sparks gummy sweets....am addicted to them and they've vanished from the supermarket shelves.....Not to be found anywhere. Sending out an SOS....🤔

anotherdayanotheralias · 26/11/2022 19:57

I had an offer of a candle once ages ago so I choose the biggest one possible (worth maybe £7, whoo!) and I'm still using now. Haven't been offered anything free in yonks but I hardly spend in there.

Hmm1234 · 26/11/2022 20:05

50p off a smoothie

rosegoldwatcher · 26/11/2022 21:47

I can't even get on to my Sparks page, just getting "Sorry, we can’t find that page."

Moll2020 · 26/11/2022 21:57

Mine was tickets to see My Fair Lady for £20. Best Sparks reward ever.

gillys · 26/11/2022 22:01

If it’s the same as mine, a loaf of bread ?

Davros · 26/11/2022 22:05

Bag of fucking bananas 🍌

Darlingx · 27/11/2022 11:57

Went in to claim my reward (6 pink lady apples) and to stock up on Bang Bang dip now that is a treat and they only sell packs of 4 pink lady apples so I couldn't have my reward!!

with you on the Bang Bang dip 🥰

I haven't lived in England for years. What are you supposed to get with loyalty cards?

I have only the Sparks card, a John Lewis one and a Tesco Clubcard.

I've never had anything worth a mention from the first two but the Tesco one is rewarded in vouchers which can be used in store (face value) or on line - converted into money off various products available from their 'Clubcard partners.'
I mostly use the Tesco vouchers for eating out discounts. (For example £15 Tesco voucher equates to £45 off a meal at Prezzo.)

The scheme is not nearly as good as it used to be. DH and I had 3 city breaks (in 5 star hotels) back in the 2000s, entirely paid for by Clubcard vouchers.

QuietYou · 27/11/2022 17:33

A loaf of crappy white sliced bread 🙄

I've had two of those this year which I didn't claim, it used to be lovely but now it's just horrible and pappy like every other supermarket.
I've also had a few bakery items, 2 packs of pink lady apples, a room spray set, an aromatherapy roll on thing, two bags of Percy pigs, a Percy pig smoothie and I think a bar of chocolate.

dontgobaconmyheart · 27/11/2022 17:54

I never feel I can complain, these things are literally free and I hardly spend a fortune in M&S - I can't afford to.

I've had a few things for free this year, at least two free loaves of bread and 3 bags of Percy Pigs, 1 pack of Belgan choc cookies. I don't actually like PP's but others in the house do so it's always welcome. What I would say is that the free Percy Pigs offer works on the huge bags - 400g I think they are, not just the small ones. I didn't even know they did a huge bag but had it pointed out to me by a member of staff who was clearly on the side of the people!

SandwhichGenerationGal · 27/11/2022 21:35

I got a pack of three gorgeous room sprays

We paid for the kids big Xmas presents entirely by Clubcard vouchers many years ago, they used to double the value at Xmas. It's no wonder they had to rein it back, it was jaw dropping. We have a Playmobil Hotel and a couple of other big sets, an expensive coffee machine and other smaller things. It was bonkers.
I bought a toaster recently with Nectar points, I'd been collecting points for so many years🙈
We still use the Clubcard vouchers for food treats at Christmas. M&S Sparks is just a waste of time, admittedly we don't do our main shop there, but I often do top up shops and it's the only decent clothes shop locally, so we buy a fair amount of kids clothes.
