Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day before I go to get the girls up shortly. The washer's on already with their uniforms for the week.

We're off to town when we're ready, for some new Christmas decorations. I've saved up most of the year so we can have a change. The majority of the older ones that are still in good nick will go to work for our trees there. We'll probably call via the market for some fruit for next week too.

I'm currently painting a set of The Gruffalo peg people so will work on those some more late afternoon/early evening. Hopefully they'll be finished today so I can varnish them, ready to take on Monday.

Dd1 will probably continue The Vampire Diaries, and I expect dd2 will Minecraft with her friend in The Netherlands, this evening. I want to carry on my thread crochet church, I think, I'm hoping to complete my village before Christmas.

Good morning
Just had my first coffee, ds and dh are both complaining of headaches so they are still mooching around in bed. Think I will get showered soon and head for the food shopping for the week. Need to get my mums shopping aswell and drop that in. Other than that I fancy a lazy pj day when I get back. Ds has been making a skate park out of cardboard for his finger skateboard so he will probably continue with that and play his xbox

Just having a coffee watching morning telly. 14yo DS still asleep, he's off out with his mates later. No idea what I'm doing yet, I'm at a bit of a loose end today!

Had coffee and croissants.

Making a curry for main meal so will go up and harvest some veg for it, will feed the feral kittens, stroke the tame feral cat, sieve some leafmould and mooch about a bit for the rest of the day.

Ds3 got a bad cough, enough to make him vomit (two times so far). So I will be, staying home caring for him. Cleaning up, here and there. Ds3 is attached to my hip normally and during illness it gets worse. He is only 2 years old, so it is fine.
While dh has taken our other two sons swimming, and was planning to take them out this afternoon.

Sitting in the car park of DS gymnastics. After this, we'll go to the skate park for a bit then the toy shop as he has a party this afternoon.
Then home for lunch, and DH will take over as I was on party duty last weekend. While they're out, I'm going to take myself off on a lovely winters walk, aiming for four hours, with a few podcasts. Then it's slow cooked chilli for tea and a bit of Strictly. Perfect!

Been up since 6,have done some online Christmas shopping for DH
2 loads of washing done,just the ironing to tackle 😞
DS2 doing some revision for his mock GCSE'S which start on Monday.
Going to take him to get his hair cut later because we're off out tonight for a family meal to celebrate my niece's birthday,looking forward to a lovely meal and a few drinks.
Might pop into M&S for some puff pastry mince pies because I've got a craving for them,need a few items to finish the hamper I am making up for my 87 year old Godmother too.
Need some inspiration for this!

I'm full of a stinking cold and feel rubbish so DH has brought me paracetamol and a cuppa in bed and we're watching the bill on telly

It's a year today since my dad passed away so Later today we're going to scatter his ashes and then going to his favourite restaurant for tea with my mum and siblings so a somber one for me today!

Dog went out for a wee, I made tea and we came back to bed, bit of web surfing.
Morning walk, may do some baking and freezer cooking, only me home at moment.

Afternoon bit of tidying garden and house.
Out for a curry with friends later and will watch Strictly on catch up.

It's a beautiful day here, sunny cold and crisp love it! I'm only just up as recovering from major surgery last week. DH brought me breakfast in bed 👍about to get a morning bath just waiting for hot water tank to heat

I'm going to (slowly) put uniform on the line, it won't completely dry but will get it started then finish in tumble dryer.

Off to a nature reserve after lunch, DH is going to get me settled in the cafe as I can't walk far at the moment. I'm hoping to sit outside well wrapped up then will take the DC for a good blast in the fresh air.

Home for a rare treat of a takeaway in the spirit of budgeting we've gone from a weekly takeaway to every 6 -8 weeks now and we really enjoy it and appreciate it more.

I'm having tea, as ever, then I have to go down to the land and empty the van of the rocks that I picked up yesterday. I will put some washes on, sort, fold, etc.
I'm expecting a delivery of a sort of ottoman thingy, for the family room, which will contain board games, etc.
DH is helping our friends fell and log their winter fuel crop of trees, which has been going on all week.
I plan to watch the Snooker this afternoon, whilst doing some mending, and then do dinner. DH got something out of the freezer to thaw overnight. I don't know what it is yet, so haven't planned the accompaniments or anything. But you can be sure it will use some of our many pumpkins (sigh).
I’m rewatching Capaldi's Dr Who, which is fab, and increasingly appreciated by Whovians, btw, so I will do that this evening, keeping an eye on the Snooker, too. DH will be knackered and nod off early.

Morning. I’m feeling sluggish this morning so haven’t done anything so far other than write a half arsed shopping list. Just off to Tesco in a bit while DH does some work at late MILs bungalow as the estate agent is coming next week to photograph.

DD is out with friends all day. DS is working 2-10.

I need to do a mass laundry sort today. I have clean stuff to put away, piles that need washing and wet stuff in the washing machine.

DH is on call for work so will mooch about huffing and puffing as he can never settle when he’s on call.

Hoping to just sit and read once I’ve finished with the laundry. I’ve had a shit week at work and feel the need to finish Little Women!

Good morning everyone.

I’ve been on a long walk with the dog, so he’ll snooze for most of the day now. Rugby tots and rugby later for me. My husbands at baby sensory at the moment, so he’ll back at elevenish. My son has a rugby match today, but it clashes with mine so I won’t be able to watch him.

Grandma is coming over later today and staying for a few days, so we’re all looking forward to that.

It’s our daughters birthday soon, so I’m wrapping her presents later as we’re doing a little party tomorrow. I’ve got her a wooden puzzle, stacking cups and pokemon violet. My husbands got her a new arsenal kit, so we’ll have to teach her how to call childline.

I’m suffering from jet lag and after being back at work yesterday I’m exhausted so have slept 12 hours straight and am just on my first cup of tea!

Going to finish unpacking and get properly prepared for next week - wash uniforms etc.

Might do some baking…….need to pop into town to drop of a couple of bags to the charity shop.

Having chicken panang curry for dinner and watching strictly.

Feeling like...I don't know what. Little did I know, when I woke up on this Saturday a year ago, just how life changing the day would be. We had a normal day, took the babies to a Lights event that evening, came home, put the babies to bed, had chilli for dinner then, just as we finished eating, I turned to DH and realised he'd had a massive stroke.

Today I am taking Little Person number 5 to the forest where we are meeting up with my last little fosterling. I can't wait to see him, he's been gone for a couple of months now and is settling in really well but my heart still aches for him even though I know he has a wonderful new family.

Today I am sad and I don't want to be.

I'm grumpy and knackered, despite having 11 hours sleep last night. I've got a headache and snapped at the kids and dog already.

The house is a mess, I have loads of work to do. Just can't get on top of everything and feel resentful at everyone and everything.

Need to snap out of it but I don't know how! We went out after school to a family activity last night which was fun while it lasted but as soon as it ended I was back to being annoyed we had to go somewhere noisy to eat

My DH and I are doing some restorative trimming and replanting of 6 gooseberry bushes while the sun's out, first four were done last weekend. Not a fun job but needs doing. I then plan on then getting the cottage pie made for dinner and some sewing.

Tomorrow is a day of rest 😄

Awake at 7 annoyingly, but not up until 8/8.30. Shower, then downstairs for a coffee, before making everyone's breakfast - bacon and beans on toast 👍Then watched the news and beginning of Saturday Kitchen. Stripped beds for the first washing load. Reminded dd she needs to tidy her room as well as revise today....which went down really well 😬 and now back on the sofa watching SK for a bit longer, with second coffee. Our car has a puncture, which won't be fixed before tomorrow, so we're grounded a bit, although we'll be taking the dogs out for a walk and no doubt nip to the local pub before dinner later. That's about it!

Dh is re doing the grouting on the kitchen floor atm so kitchen will be difficult to use for the rest of today
Ds1 is still asleep (I think he's coming down with something..)
Ds2 is up and pottering
I will thoroughly clean the wc and bathroom later - other cleaning will have to wait until tomorrow
Tomorrow dh is out so I'll be cleaning and ironing
All xmas shopping done and wrapped. Grocery deliveries booked. Cards written...I like a very chilled Advent!!
I just need to ignore the dreaded twitch 😬
I'm currently checking out events and concerts to go to in December 🌲
Next Sunday is the 1st Sunday day of Advent so we will be going to a local Carol concert and then putting the decorations up

Launderette in the morning, work this afternoon.

We have so far has a very lazy Saturday. DD and I went for a haircut this morning. We're just playing with toys and hanging out. The kids are off to my parents tonight so DH and I can have a night out (it's been far too long!)

Woke up in a really low mood for which I can't find a reason, went out, did the shopping, came back and had a hot bath. Now wrapped in fleecy warm clothes, watching the TV and eyeing the bottle of merlot meant for tonight.

Working. What a joy 🙄 at home on break at the moment hoping the next hour goes as slow as possible cos I'm enjoying being snug laid on my electric blanket whilst snuggling DCat. Then I'll be hoping and praying that the next 6 hours fly by. Just had 3 days off then after tomorrow I've another 2 off 3 in 2 off so I can't really complain. The hours are ridiculously long though and I usually end up wasting my first full day off trying to catch back up on sleep

Having a pyjama day
Had a lazy bath and am lounging on the sofa with a cat while DH does some ironing.
DD made lunch and DH is making dinner. I've got it made 😆

Up at 9.30am took dd to maths lesson, popped to Tesco on way back for some bits, came home made everyone lunch, ironed all uniforms, walked dog, made a curry for the week, dropped dd off to her craft day event.

Now getting ready to meet family for a meal. Then to collect dd after meal from her friends. Tomorrow visiting brother
