Good morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just drinking my first cuppa of the day before I go to get the girls up shortly. The washer's on already with their uniforms for the week.

We're off to town when we're ready, for some new Christmas decorations. I've saved up most of the year so we can have a change. The majority of the older ones that are still in good nick will go to work for our trees there. We'll probably call via the market for some fruit for next week too.

I'm currently painting a set of The Gruffalo peg people so will work on those some more late afternoon/early evening. Hopefully they'll be finished today so I can varnish them, ready to take on Monday.

Dd1 will probably continue The Vampire Diaries, and I expect dd2 will Minecraft with her friend in The Netherlands, this evening. I want to carry on my thread crochet church, I think, I'm hoping to complete my village before Christmas.

Good morning!

I was up nice and early this morning at 6am so had a nice, quiet 2 hours to myself before any of the dc woke up. My weekly shop came early today so that’s all been put away and I’m just finishing my cup of tea then will get showered and ready for the day.

Dh is at work again today, dd15 has a revision group at school this morning from 9-12 so she’ll be setting off there any minute (she is really not happy about it!), dd18 will be having a long lie in and probably just slobbing around the house this afternoon as she is working from 4pm - 2.30am this evening.

Me and dd8 will be visiting both my sister’s houses as I need to collect some clothes I ordered for ds for Christmas from one sister and dd left her winter boots at my other sister’s when she stayed a few weeks ago. Then I’ll go to my mum’s for an hour on the way back.

Other than that I’ll be doing some washing (first load is almost finished) and we’re having enchiladas and salad for tea. Dh is picking the eldest up from work tonight so I’ve got a bottle of wine which will be opened and enjoyed this evening.

I'm on my second coffee of the morning and still sat about in pyjamas. The DCs are playing Pokémon on the living room floor surrounded by toys and DCat is chasing toys around the floor.
When we're dressed we're heading into town to change books at the library and walk round the market.
This afternoon the DCs want to finish their Christmas lists and I'm going to do a deep clean of the house as it looks like an explosion a toy factory.

First Coffee of the morning. Have fed the cats. Watching them chase each other.

Exciting shopping for decs. I need to start my shopping.

However, I am off to a Christmas fayre at the church my parents go to.
My teen is at a sleepover, have text to see if she wants to come to the fayre. Can't see it.

Also revision on a Saturday in November. As a teacher I am with your dd there. 🤣

Morning everyone! market and craft fair today , I love seeing how clever people are, it blows my mind sometimes

I have done the most important task of the day. Made a move in the current game of Mornington Crescent, the game of games.

That game is utter tosh though @balalake , what else are you up to, there has to be something better than that ?

Delightfully,I have no plans whatsoever other than watching Strictly tonight. Still in bed with coffee and cat and no plans to move anytime soon. The joys of having grown up children!

Up early to wait for builder to fix loose tap in new kitchen. Took in parcel for next door so good job I was up as driver would have woken me. Builder not here yet though.

Going to visit elderly relatives bit later and pick up any shopping they might want then home and gardening for rest of day as weather supposed to be good.

Having a very lazy morning with Dd, and then I’m going to deep clean the house and put the Christmas decs up.

Waiting for DH to finish arsing around around with wires behind the TV so we can take ddog for a long walk around the reservoir.
Then will come home and see if the Teens have emerged from their pits and I will make some soup for everyone (2 lots as DS likes chicken soup but DD is veggie).
We might go to Ikea later to buy a new sofa and have an argument, we will go around 7 when it gets quiet.
Then home for TV (if the wires issue is sorted) and a glass of wine

We’re actually going out out! Really looking forward to it as fun has been thin on the ground lately thanks to the COL crisis. We’re going out for lunch, to watch the rugby (which I’m not interested in) and then seeing a local band tonight.

I'm sat on the sofa with a coffee. Ds2 football match has been cancelled due to the weather. The plan is now to have a quick tidy and do some more course work for my top-up degree.
This evening we're having chicken casserole for dinner and will watch strictly.

I'm having a cup of coffee contemplating what to do today. I have to do some cleaning but want to get some steps in so might take some clothes to the clothes bank and buy the ingredients for a cottage pie.

Lazy morning for us.

Need to take DS to have his hair cut this afternoon. After that I plan to watch doctor who with ds6 (whose recently gotten into it) and do some needle felting.

Pretty chilled day!

I'm going to a roller disco with DD. I think I am more excited than she is!

Moving the cupboard I have restored to the sitting room
moving cushions off of outside sofa indoors
Laundry
Making a Snow Queen crown
Going to a friends for fish and chips, beer and board games

Morning 👋🏻 just had my first cuppa log burner is on. I have to chivvy my DS5 out soon for swimming then back for bacon sandwiches and a lazy afternoon of games and sneaky homework before homemade pizzas tonight and Strictly. I may try to venture into the garden as I could do with clearing the leaves and covering over DS toys etc for winter but I fear the call of the toasty warm log burner will be too much 😆.

I've been up for a couple of hours. I had a late night as I went out with a friend last night and am feeling a bit groggy and tired. Have done some cleaning and washing is being done.
I'm about to bake a cake then we're all off to visit family.

Just had my second coffee, still currently in pjs. Dd7 is eating breakfast, dd15 and dd18 are still in bed. I'm about to do some cleaning then drop the dog off at the groomers then pick up DD's friend as she's coming for a play date. DH is mentioned putting the tree up but I'm not sure (separate thread)
Other than that I'm not doing much today

Morning all! I love these threads, although what I'm doing is today is extremely boring in comparison.

DH got home from his night shift an hour ago, so he had breakfast with DS and I and has now gone up to bed. DS (16 months) is cutting 2 back teeth, and is extremely unhappy about it. My sciatica and PGP/SPD is getting worse the more heavily pregnant I become, so to be brutally honest, I'll be spending most of the day sitting surrounded by cushions on the floor with DS whilst we play.

We've had pancakes and the shed men are here putting up my new garden shed.
Then we will walk down to the beach to watch Santa arrive in the harbour by speedboat!
Then the DC go to their Dad's and I get ready for 2 night shifts 😊
