Good Morning All! What's everyone up to today?

I've just made my first cup of tea of the day & am enjoying the quiet while I drink it & have a virtual wander round the Internet.

I have loads I want to get done today; I've brought the washing basket and ironing down with me, but first tea ☕️

I need to do a few repairs and hem some curtains, make a prototype for my Rainbows activity this week, and check my Christmas list against what's in the box.

There's some other bits too but dd2 wants to try making hot chocolate stirrers and sugar mice, so we might not get to them.

I'll see if the girls' dad will nip to Asda or Lidl for me -he'll only buy what I ask for whereas I usually wind up with several munchy items from the bakery/sweet aisles 🙄

We're having pork loin steaks for tea, probably with some salad bits and garlicky potatoes 😋

Love these threads! We all got up far too late, late night last night. We've just had brunch with lots of tea and bacon baguettes. Heading outside to finish netting the bigger and more secure chicken run that should see the girls through the winter and all of the avian flu restrictions. They'd been under a hastily cobbled together small covered area until this weekend and it was so muddy already.

This afternoon I've got some work to do and emails to send to potential PhD supervisors. We have a secure dog field booked for 4pm so will take the dogs for a big run there later. Beagle bum will love being off lead and no chance of her buggering off for 2 hours like she did in Dunwich forest last year 😅

Roast pork with stuffing, red cabbage, roasties and veg later and I might try and do some baking. Kids will be bathed and in bed early and then DH and I will watch an episode of something and get an early night ready for the week.

We're off to my second ever little fosterling's birthday party.

I have no idea what's for dinner as it's only me I need to feed, my current fosterling will have food at the party.

I did loads yesterday and so it's a chill day today, I'm knackered the dark morning and night commutes are not helping!

DCs are working today and my plan is to convince DH to take me to the local pub for a roast

I'm still recovering from surgery but have been alternating between bed and couch for a change of scene 😂

Rest of family are at remembrance Day parade, some in the parade some watching them on to the woods for a walk in the sun.

Friend dropping off a lasagne for dinner in a bit save us cooking.

I may start my new cross stitch this afternoon, or more like, nap!
