coconut boost - annoying as I’d just got into them before they disappeared.

Drifters - forgotten all about them, they were great.

Mint cracknell (although it cut my tongue it was so sharp). Used to come in a long packet with two bars.

What a great thread! I had totally forgotten about 5,4,3,2,1s, citrus polos and toffos. Really want them now!

Bassett’s spearmint imperials.😋 Head and shoulders above any other mints.

I miss gorgeous 1970/80's wafer based bars - Kitkat's are no substitute.
I loved:
Cadbury's Bar Six - awesome Wafer bar with Hazelnut cream.
Wafia made by Terry's of York in milk or dark chocolate. Dark chocolate was divine.
Banjo - Light crisp wafer bar. Came in toasted coconut and roast nut versions.
I also loved Cadbury Country Style bars - red and white gingham paper wrapper . It had really crunchy biscuits balls and raisins in it.

Even if the bars made a comeback they would taste bad as Mondelez Kraft and other big brands have really degraded their chocolate.

They were discontinued in 2019, if they have been quietly brought back, that would make me incredibly happy. I half feel like going down our local coop now to see if they have some... Pic for old times sake!

Pacers, spangles and texan bars. Also miss the quarter pound sweets you could buy.

@Cherrysherbet - Cabana. That's a blast from the past. It was so sweet! Tropical and exotic.
@shyposter - Border Creme eggs were the most sought after eggs at the school Tuck shop. Chocolate fondant inside - so much nicer than the standard creme egg.

Thank you to all the Maverick appreciators - I have been trying to get friends to remember them for years and no one does! There was so much packed into those bars!
