Need Advice On Vaping

Recently, DH decided to try to stop smoking and I ordered him a vape kit and juice online.
Four years ago we both had a different kit and both hated it - we found it made us choke. It so happened that I succeeded in giving up smoking using nicotine patches and DH tried, but was unsuccessful. Both of us were unimpressed with the vape kits and we threw them out eventually.
Now, DH asked me to buy another one so that he could have another go. I was wary because I remembered how we'd both felt when we used the previous ones. DH thought that vape kits had probably evolved after four years and I figured it was worth another go.
(They've certainly gone up in price, anyway).

I got him one which cost about £40 and some juice with 11 mg nicotine in it, which was a further £11.

He cannot cope with it at all. Same thing as before - it makes him choke.
Is he doing something wrong? Can anyone give us any advice about this?

Because I deeply object to some random on the internet rocking up and telling someone who is attempting to quit smoking that vaping is more harmful.

UK public health recognise these misperceptions as a major barrier to people making the switch. Every year they look at data on harm perceptions and make recommendations for correcting misperceptions such as you are spreading here.

Most countries that are anti-vaping make significant money from the sale of tobacco. Vaping is banned in India. Coincidentally, the Indian government owns the biggest tobacco company in India, where a huge percentage of the population smokes … 🤔

Anyhow, I’m glad the OP’s situation is sorted.

I have vapes for years now.
Got fed up with feeling a little breathless and abit yucky - quit the vape by throwing it and all my juices in the bin and brought Sainsburys Nic gum for when I have a craving. Haven't vaped for over a week ! Feeling so much better !
