Personally I don’t think politicians who are still in office should be allowed to do it. But nevertheless, I’m going to make extra effort to watch this year!

Never watched this show but I understand the public vote for them to complete horrible challenges so I may have to start.

An MP is the only role where you can take a month off, get sacked by your bosses, and still rake in a massive salary. Our system of government is not fit for purpose.

I wonder if his ex wife is at the stage where she looks and him and feels relief that she is no-longer with him.

This made me laugh 😆

I won’t hear a word against Ed Balls!

I'm an Ed Balls fan too 🙂

His wife is the abler politician though!

Matt might be a dodgy MP but Boy George is a convicted criminal who tied another man up and beat him. He should never be on TV again.

I think that Hancock's decisions have led to the death of NHS staff as well as the general public.

To be honest neither men come across as kind or reasonable. May their time in the jungle be all that they deserve.

Beebumble2 · 01/11/2022 13:38

I’m sure he’ll be laughing all the way to the bank. The British public are paying his salary. I’m furious, he should be forced to resign and a by election take place.

the80sweregreat · 01/11/2022 13:40

The fact that Boy George tied up another man and chained him to a radiator is bad enough ( he did his time and community service , but it's still bad )
Matt Hancock allowed many to die in care homes by lying about the ' ring of steal' over the pandemic
He had said he is raising awareness of Dyslexia
I hope he gives his appearance fee to charity , but ive a feeling he won't ( or not all of it ,anyway , I bet )
Both men are pretty reprehensible in my book.

the80sweregreat · 01/11/2022 13:41

I don't mind if BG has a sing song.
Then gets the boot.

Trqpe · 01/11/2022 13:41

He should step down if he wants to dick about as a reality tv star.
He will be voted for every challenge though so silver lining I suppose. I think he will be quite like his spitting image puppet, just massively pathetic and probably hiding behind a plant.

girlmom21 · 01/11/2022 13:43

I must admit I never thought I'd see a thread arguing about whether Boy George or Matt Hancock is less worthy of eating bugs in an Australian jungle.

Blossomtoes · 01/11/2022 11:56

Nobody in his constituency will notice whether he’s there or not.

That’s true. I am still waiting for a reply from 2019. 😟

the80sweregreat · 01/11/2022 13:47

I wonder how his constituents feel ? They may have staff to pick up the slack for this time his in the jungle , but it must rankle of you voted for him.

lillypopdaisyduke · 01/11/2022 13:48

Guess who is eating bugs, being slimed and being covered on cockroaches for the next 14 days !! Good luck to him - I'll be voting for the tory to$$er

TooBigForMyBoots · 01/11/2022 13:52

icelolly12 · 01/11/2022 13:14

Why on earth would he want to go on that dreadful show?! Obviously all he cares about is his ego and desire to be famous...how did we get in this state of such a shit show of politicians?!

He has a book coming out before Christmas.

the80sweregreat · 01/11/2022 13:54

They should bury him under ground with the critters and the rats and a pipe to breath out of and leave him there pretending it's being filmed ! 😂

I have never voted for him, but he did have a huge majority at the last election.
Personally I couldn’t care less about him going to the jungle. I would be happy for him to stay there.

OminousBirdAWing · 01/11/2022 13:57

Oh come on people - do I HAVE to be the one to make the inevitable joke about him getting into trouble because of a little trip to the bush Down Under when he's meant to be working?.....

I'll get my coat Sad

the80sweregreat · 01/11/2022 13:57

Maybe he feels his safe then with his big majority and his book about dyslexia
Look at me. I'm one of the good guys
Won't wash with me

DuoLingoMakesMeBingo · 01/11/2022 14:21

What a plonker. It really shows his commitment to constituents.

Christmascaroll · 01/11/2022 14:33

LIZS · 01/11/2022 12:48

Mike Tindall won't suffer fools I suspect!

With a senior politician and a member of the Royal Family could be interesting...?

the80sweregreat · 01/11/2022 14:54

I'm surprised that they are allowing Mike Tindall to go in the jungle.

Blossomtoes · 01/11/2022 15:05

Hancock’s not a senior politician any more. Nobody could stop Tindall 80s, he’s a private citizen.

Unseelie · 01/11/2022 15:13

Just when you think he can’t make more of an idiot of himself… There he goes. Bet his constituents are thrilled about all his hard work for their constituency issues 👀

Do we think it was a drunken bet? Or he wants to be a talk show host? V difficult to see why he’s doing it.

the80sweregreat · 01/11/2022 15:13

No, I understand this, but they are bound to want the gossip on Harry / Meghan
I'm just surprised they let him go in there
