Hi all,

First night on duty, forgot how lonely it can be whilst the worlds asleep so I thought I'd start a thread instead of online shopping Grin

I thought we can talk about what we're doing to past the time, just chit chat, recommend tv shows/books whatever we want.

So far tonight I've watched senior year, not sure if I'd recommend it though, it did the job an easy watch but meh.

I also tried vampire diaries and not sure if it's because it's a product of it's time or really marketed towards teenagers but I found it a bit cringe, does it get better??

I can't sleep as baby is on my chest, she seems really refluxy and I've changed her twice due to being sick everywhere but she's settled nicely on me so I'll leave her to it.

#nosleepclub

Baby cried so went and made her bottle for her to decide she actually wasn't finished sleeping so woke her up as it's been three hours and she's pretty pissed off at me Grin but had a good feed so all is forgiven unless newborns hold grudges???

Wide awake after re-settling my 16 month old. He’s picked up a vomiting bug from child minders and very kindly passed it on to mummy. My stomachs in bits 😭 Can’t get back to sleep so popped Motherland on my phone and hoping I’ll drift off soon. Luckily as I work with food, I need to take the next few days off so can catch up on sleep whilst DP deals with the sick child 😂

I'm awake with my four weeks old, to be fair he has a feed at 2 and went straight back over but I couldn't get back to sleep. He's normally very good, has a feed at 11, 2 and then usually goes till about 7 after the 2 o'clock feed. I'm on my own as DH had to go away to work when he was two weeks old. He's due home on Saturday I'm so looking forward to another pair of hands!

@HammerToFall well done. Flowers my dh works away sometimes too so I know how hard it is.

The baby is currently sleeping peacefully in her cot and I'm slumped on the sofa with a coffee while my eldest plays on the floor with some Lego and c bee bies is on!

Well done to everyone for surviving the night. My arms ache SO much from picking up / holding my baby 😭 they hurt all the time.
