Can't see Dizzy Lizzy lasting much longer so who's the worst eligible?

inevitably they'll pick the shittiest so at least we can brace...

Christopher Chope.

mummyh2016 · 20/10/2022 13:09

I can't believe no one has mentioned Sir Gavin!

MrsMAgain · 20/10/2022 13:13

It would be a very long list, but top of the 'no, just NO' list would be Boris Johnson. He got himself voted in on lies and continued to lie. We've been there, suffered that, and it took far too long to get rid of him first time around. He is corrupt and self-serving. The mess we are in now is largely his fault and the fault of those who voted for him and for Brexit. The idea that he might come back is just laughable. As a country we are already enough of a laughingstock thanks to the Tories.

I did, but it's certainly worth repeating!

mummyh2016 · 20/10/2022 13:14

@Littledidsheknow oops I thought I'd checked really well before I posted as well!

Threadkillacilla · 20/10/2022 13:15

Has anyone got Anne Widicombe in their contacts list?

wonder if she d take pity on us?

Larry would be the best of a truly awful bunch.
I have it on very good authority that Larry is not a Conservative.

blackpearwhitelilies · 20/10/2022 13:19

Braverman

Larry is a very sensible cat

Penny Mordaunt - because she did a great job at the transfer of power to Charles

So that means that she's good and might make them electable again

And I don't want the Tories to get re elected Sad

LaurieFairyCake · 20/10/2022 13:25

As far as I'm concerned you can have all the others apart from Mordaunt and we will get Labour for next 2 terms Grin

hardtochangename · 20/10/2022 13:30

Anne-Marie Trevelyan has taken silly smirking to new levels today. I keep thinking she's going start giggling any minute.

Lord Snooty (JRM) is the most appalling man.

Threadkillacilla · 20/10/2022 13:30

What's Coffey like on Russia? She gives the impression of being an enforcer, imagine that plot twist, we nuke first!

OP posts:
Sooverthemill · 20/10/2022 13:33

Sadly Coffey is our MP. She is useless. Mind you our former MP was Dorries

Fear Penny Mordaunt not. All she largely had to do was read a prepared script and look and sound the part for a very short time indeed. That does not make her good and there is plenty of evidence out there to say she is not.

LadyGaGasPokerFace · 20/10/2022 13:37

Well, she’s quit.

I’d hate it to be JRM. Clueless.

MagpiePi · 20/10/2022 13:39

I'll have a go at PM if you want
I couldn't be any more clueless or useless than LT or BJ 😂

MrsMAgain · 20/10/2022 13:39

Yes, Truss has resigned.

Leavesofautumn · 20/10/2022 13:43

Definitely Jacob Rees Mogg. Boris is just a straightforward idiotic buffoon, whereas JRM actually gives me the creeps.

Leavesofautumn · 20/10/2022 13:45

And I know a lot of MPs are out of touch with reality and everyday people's lives, but I still think JRM displays this on an even higher level, even by the standards of out-of-touch Tories.

Threadkillacilla · 20/10/2022 13:46

Lovely another leadership election....

OP posts:
Leavesofautumn · 20/10/2022 13:49

From a realistic point of view, I think it's reasonable to expect Rishi to be chosen, even if we don't want that. But if JRM is ever chosen, I will RUN AWAY SCREAMING IN A HORRIFIED MANNER.

FrenchFancie · 20/10/2022 13:50

I am actually a bit worried we’re going to get JRM - I mean I hope we get a GE because this shit show can’t go on for much longer but think of the damage Mogg could do even in the short term…

Leavesofautumn · 20/10/2022 13:52

Apart from his general creepy manner, JRM is very publically anti-abortion. Imagine what damage he could do to women's rights and health.

EndlessMagpies · 20/10/2022 13:56

My vote for the worst candidate goes to Nadine Dorries.

Second worst - JRM.
