I just love a ring thread!
My DP and I got married last month, and I'm waiting for my wedding ring to come back from the jewellers as it was a little too big.

Whilst I'm waiting (and missing it!!) I'd love to see yours!

I don't wear my engagement ring. Instead I wear my wedding band, and two eternities.

All three are as small and discreet as money can buy. Rose gold, tiny diamonds.

I find my engagement ring difficult to wear as it catches on things.

They are gorgeous. One of the reasons I don’t like my ring is because it caught on everything and I lost a stone after about a week. These look so lovely to wear all the time and feel that special feeling when you look at them!

Some gorgeous rings. As a jeweller I feel that I should point out that some of these rings really need a clean!
To make your diamonds sparkle use hot water, a splash of washing up liquid and a soft toothbrush. You will not believe the difference if you clean out the gunk behind the gemstones.
Also, not many people do, but everyone should pop their rings in for a clean and service once a year or so. Should only cost around £25 and it will ensure that you don't lose any gemstones.
Also, please check your insurance. The cost to replace your rings will have gone up hugely over the past few years. Make sure that you have enough cover.

You are so right. I used to do it often, don’t know why I got out of the habit. It really does make them sparkle.

My engagement ring is new because I lost a stone in my original ring and it couldn't be fixed. My mums wedding ring had little circles on it and I always loved it so I got a similar pattern in my wedding ring.

Interesting to see quite a few of you wear your engaging ring first. I was told by my DM that the wedding ring is to be worn closest to the heart! 😍

I wanted a split shank, but by the time I added wedding and eternity bands, it reached my knuckle. So I got the same look in two rings. Works for me. I’m always back to front!

I have to wear my engagement ring first because a) it's still a little loose even after having it resized and there's no way I'm losing it! and b) because my wedding ring is so wide (1.5cm 🙄), it would look odd the other way round!

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't wear their engagement ring. It's not that I don't like it, but: it doesn't sit nicely against my wedding band, it catches on everything, and it's ever so slightly too big, so it rotates around my finger.
