8 year olds birthday party, £5 In birthday card?

Do you think £5 in a card is too tight? DH says not I thought it was.
It's not a close friend just class mate & invited to my DS is invited to a party.

@CollyWibbleWobbles I can assure you in the mid eighties I'd get that much from classmates for my birthday

My two have had varying amounts, between £5 and £20 and they're equally happy, as they tend to count up how much money they have overall rather than how much individuals have given them - I don't think it occurs to them that some have given more than others.
