Just watching Ghosts.... if you had to spend eternity wearing what you're wearing now... would you be pleased?!

laughing again at the 'pants-down' Tory MP spending eternity with no trousers 😂

I'm looking reasonably acceptable tonight - leggings, hoody and ugg-type slippers that would not be toooooo hideous to live forever in.

Hair & makeup still okay from work.
Other nights could be a different matter. Hair dye with old tee shirt, or coconut oil and plastic bag on hair!

How about you? If you popped your clogs now, what's your forever outfit?

Wise move, @WhatLikeItsHard

Eternity with stubbly pits... not good 🙈😂

NO! I'm feeling ill and got Beatles T-Shirt & Pyjama bottoms on.

Dd has worried about this since ghosts started 😂
Her big fear is dying naked 😳

100% comfy - joggers and hoody because I've been off with the baby all day, but full face of make up because some friends came round after work. Plus I had a shower and did my hair in a 'you just caught me so casually' style. Perfect combo!

CantFindTheBeat · 29/09/2022 20:51

You would probably be feted as an afterlife bountiful goddess @Postpartumreset

Quite right too 🤩

Uh oh..... I'm wearing socks, PJ bottoms, no bra and a sweatshirt that says "You had me at merlot" so my terrible sense of humour would be immortalised. 👻🙄

My hair is brushed though, so at least there is that.

dudsville · 29/09/2022 20:53

I would how not to spend eternity in a bra and that's a great topicv the show should have commented on! If i became a ghost right now it would be bed socks and pyjamas, the button down type. If I'd died at work today I'd have been in a fab outfit but it's what some call the amish look, so i would spend forever being mis-dated.

I used to know a firefighter who said his wife always made sure she had a dressing grown arms reach from her at all times; in bed, the bath, everywhere. She had a fear of being incapacitated and all her DH's colleagues coming to her naked rescue!!!

I totally get that.

Aw, bless her, @crosbystillsandmash

I did worry that I'd turn into a werewolf when I was a teen, so probably not one to advise!

Patrick is my favourite in his Scouts uniform.

I would be comfy at least - joggers, hoodie, sheepskin slippers. Standard post-work lounging clothes, I could happily spend eternity in those.

Goneback2school · 29/09/2022 20:55

Yes I'd be happy, I'm wearing a new super comfortable work clothes-stretchy 7/8 trousers, baggy tshirt and long woolly cardy. I've no shoes on though so hope I won't have to walk far.

He's just brilliant, isn't he?
That arrow must chafe though.

Black top and black jeggings but I also wear a fleece cardigan. That may get a bit warm or do ghosts don't feel the heat?

AdoraBell · 29/09/2022 21:00

I’m currently cosy with thick socks, jeans, T-shirt and sweater, cardigan and a blanket. So I’d be set, drape the blanket over my shoulders in the winter and carry it, and the cardigan during summer, for the best haunting options.

feliciabirthgiver · 29/09/2022 21:01

Absolutely not, butt naked in bed with glass of wine, Lindt chocolate and Mumsnet while DH is out!

Eternity in bed with wine and chocolate does sound very attractive though!

Hugasauras · 29/09/2022 21:02

I got my hair done this afternoon so I'm glam up top and jammies on below Grin Suits me

Justme10 · 29/09/2022 21:03

Queen (the band) top, tartan pj bottoms, thick socks and no bra or pants. I would be comfy so I'm happy with that.

MoistBiscuit · 29/09/2022 21:04

I'd be spending eternity naked and I guess that's pretty cool. I think it's natural for women to want to ventilate the monkey.

spiderontheceiling · 29/09/2022 21:06

My hair has felt a bit greasy all day so no!
Other than that, I would have been fine until about 20 mins ago when I got in, took off my boots so now have boot leg jeans trailing on the floor and swapped smartish jumper for a favourite but hideous fleece hoodie.
I also have a massive spot brewing.
Hopefully I won't die tonight!

lightisnotwhite · 29/09/2022 21:06

I love my Desigual dress but really it’s 15 years out of date. So ghost hunters of the future may feel I’m younger than I am rather than frumpy.

FarmCat31 · 29/09/2022 21:07

Joggers and a hoodie, hair in a lazy bun - I’d be happy 😊

MrsAvocet · 29/09/2022 21:08

Slightly tatty legging, a t shirt, a very thick woolly jumper and thermal socks. Let's hope it's not too warm in the afterlife!

CantFindTheBeat · 29/09/2022 21:10

Naked could be chilly.

Wine & chocolates sounds pretty fab, though.

Sleep t-shirt and big comfy dressing gown - could be a lot worse.

pigcon1 · 29/09/2022 21:13

Yikes, massive jumper, gillet, jeans, bright green socks. Hair needs a colour…hands liking particularly claw like 😂

just love Ghosts
