Fast food included.

Our family loves going to Harvester or McDonald's

I used to like Nandos and wagamama but they have both gone crap. Sad
Notsure it counts, but I usually do ok at Greene King pubs.
Otherwise it's totally pot luck everywhere.

HikingBoots · 13/09/2022 19:38

Cote Brasserie. Very classy feeling inside. Stylish decor. Cremant for £8 a glass. Good food. 👍

gogohmm · 13/09/2022 19:43

Cote or itsu are places I choose. McDonald's is handy at the services

gogohmm · 13/09/2022 19:44

Oh and Greggs if I need breakfast on the go

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/09/2022 19:44

Dishoom, especially for breakfast

Boston Tea Party for pancakes

I've been to Bill's three times now and don't think I'll bother going back, although I do rate their salted chocolate tart.

Had one of the worst vegetarian main courses I've ever been served in a Cote, so not really inspired to return there.

LightDrizzle · 13/09/2022 19:45

McDonalds, and if they count:
Dishoom
Hawksmoor

For fast food only McDonalds.

gogohmm · 13/09/2022 19:46

@SantanaBinLorry

Many of these are London/se only. I only recognise them from trips there. Some I've not heard of at all - I'm guessing tiny chains. We have a 4 branch restaurant here but I wouldn't count it as a chain

LightDrizzle · 13/09/2022 19:46

Oh yes! Cote too.

DialsMavis · 13/09/2022 19:47

When I lived in that London: Dishoom, Pho, Wahacca.

Now I live in the sticks: Wagamama and Prezzo (because we get a massive discount as DS works there, they also seem a fab company to work for).

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 13/09/2022 20:03

Had lunch at the Real Greek a few weeks ago - first visit. It was good, and amazing value. Will definitely go again.

Judellie · 13/09/2022 20:03

I like
Beefeater
Wetherspoons
Sambucca
Pizza Hut
The real Greek (only eaten there once but my daughter likes it and I would go again)
TGI Friday
McDonalds for the kids and as it's the only place walkable from us (not really a fan of their food tbh but the coffee is divine)

Barelyable · 13/09/2022 20:06

Giggling Squid for me.
I agree @ThreeRingCircus Greggs coffee is the best!

Caroffee · 13/09/2022 20:07

Bill's.

RAINSh0wers · 13/09/2022 20:07

Shake shack (would pick every time over a five guys, I don’t get the fuss)
Wagamamas
McDonalds for something fast and cheap that hits the spot. And as someone else said,
the coffee is actually pretty good.

JustACupofCoffee · 13/09/2022 20:09

Wagamama
Nandos
