So, it's 26 degrees, it's the second night I've seen my eldest daughter in I don't know how long!

We're having honey soy marinaded steak, corn on cob, coleslaw, lettuce salad, and baby new potatoes.

What's on at yours?

I misunderstood your thread title and thought you were upset at people having 'bad' food for their dinner. Was picturing you wincing at the mention of chicken nuggets and wedges.

PMSL, I now have a mental image of me clutching my pearls at poor wee Tarquin and Prunella being served up chicken nuggets and chips, with pizza on the side. . .

Man, there are some beautiful things being eaten tonight - we have to find ourselves a decent chinese takeaway, although DH makes a mean sweet and sour pork, Hong Kong style.

Funny how some of us are still on the summer menus (and sometimes getting bloody sick of them, speaking for myself), and some are well into the autumn/winter recipes!

We are having chicken strips, wraps, salad and oven chips.DH is having scampi

Back of the freezer tea (as it's 2 days to payday) which is Delia's roast veg lasagne, with some salady bits.

Scoop of raspberry ripple with fresh raspberries if any of us have any room left!

Just me to feed tonight, so I'm having more veg than anyone else would tolerate! A warm spiced chickpea and cauliflower salad. When I can be bothered to go and make it.

We had chicken kyivs with sweet potato fries and a basic 70s salad - lettuce, tomato and cucumber with a generous dollop of mayo.

Gammon and chips here. Followed by birthday cake 😊

DH is away for the night so I'm cheating and having Waitrose sweet and sour chicken, egg fried rice and prawn toast, followed by some Lindt chocolate 😋

@Shirty48 it is bloody delicious and makes a great change from the usual beans/cheese/tuna toppings.

We’re having sausages in buns. After a row . DH is apparently completely incapable of making a decision about dinner on his own and then had a snarky kick off AFTER I said we’d just have the sausages.

Marriage is seriously exhausting at times.

Just finished quiche, roast veg, garlic bread and DS had baked beans too.
Yogurt for afters.

Pizza!

We were meant to be having guests for a takeaway and games night but all seven of them cancelled a few hours ago 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Husband and I are still getting takeaway as we have nothing else planned for tea.

My adult Ds is staying for a few days so I did roast pork loin with roasties, Yorkshires, stuffing, savoy cabbage, bread sauce (DS would eat it with everything) and gravy. Bit warm for cooking a roast but it was delicious.

It's raining but hot and humid so we're having moqueca and piña coladas and pretending we're on holiday in South America.

Chicken shawarma kebab from m and s. There is so much chicken on this even if it is a bit pricey.

Baby potatoes and salad

I feel a bit crap today so I had a fried egg butty. Might get some cheese on toast later on.

DH Is out tonight and I'm home alone so it's egg fried rice for me. He doesn't eat egg so I only make it when he's not around.

I had egg on toast 😆 the eggs were fried in pesto!

Sesame salmon and stir fried veg. Quick and easy and tasty AF

We had fish and chips sitting in the car watching the sea mist roll in over the beach.

This sounds like actual bliss

Simply cook chicken tagine with cous cous for us tonight.

I promised our boys they could have takeaway as it’s the last fri night of the school holidays here: DS1 French taco, ds2 Pizza Hut. DH and I are having some smoked trout (that we caught, cleaned and smoked when on holiday!) with chips and salad. And a glass of sparkling Bugey wine 🥳

Mary Berry Butternut and Ginger soup tonight.
