Heated throw

Is anyone else considering getting one for winter, or already have one they can recommend?

Do you need to buy one for every member of the house, or just adults wfh and still put the heating on when the dc are home?

How many years does it take to recoup the cost do you think? 🤔

Love mine. Makes WFH bearable. Ended up having to buy DC one each too. Best money I've ever spent.

And judging by latest forecasts, I'd say I'll recoup the price of all three in January alone!

Yeah I meant to say it's not a matter of years to recoup the savings it's weeks!

We've got 2 Dreamland ones which I bought from John Lewis after seeing recommendations on here. They are amazing! Even my mum who didn't see the point of them ended up getting herself one! I can fit me and 2 kids under 1 on the sofa, we have one for each sofa. Will probably get another one this winter as they are great for keeping warm whilst watching TV in the evening. Plus they do seem to have a habit of disappearing upstairs when the kids go to bed!

THEY. ARE. BRILLANT.

Dont delay. They will be very popular this winter.

Dippydonky · 30/07/2022 17:40

Don’t even think twice! I have a Dreamland fake fur one and it’s by far one of my favourite ever purchases! I spend most of winter sat incapsulated in mine (while DP sits next to me on our sofa in his shorts!!) It’s also quite good if you have any aches and pains - like a sore back or period pain etc.

I bought mine a few years ago from Dunelm.

I bought a Dreamland throw on the first manky day of last autumn and did not regret it. Great for those days where it's not quite cold enough to justify heating the house through.

Mine was (I think) about £20 and I can't remember where from, maybe Aldi. I have had it for over 15 years - maybe even 20 years. It's been washed a number of times and is still as good as ever. I won't hesitate to buy another when it gives up the ghost, hopefully not for a long time.
