Didn’t most schools in England and Wales only break up yesterday?!

When do schools in Scotland and Ireland go back?

I don’t mind this. But when the children go back to school the advertising goes straight to Halloween and Christmas. It’s almost immediate 😭

I had it all done before Ds finished school. Means no need to think about it now!

We were in The Works yesterday and they were putting all the Christmas crafts out 😩

My kids are still in school, England. We will shop in the last week of August 2 weeks before they go back.

I can't afford to leave it all until the last minute, I have to spread the cost.

I'm hoping I can pick up the majority of what I need in the local secondhand uniform sale.

I do always leave shoes until the last week of the holidays as I want them to fit as long as possible!

@endofstory crafty stuff is slightly different because if you are making things to sell at Christmas fairs etc you have to start now because it's a lot of work.
Infact some crafters will be making their stuff all year round.

16 August here. 3 weeks. Lots pf parents buying uniform.
