Burger King or McDonald's

Just for fun...

I rarely have fast food but will do drive through McDonald's on occasion! I always get the same 6 nuggets, bbq sauce, cheese burger and fries! Bloody delicious!

However, the other day I had a drive through bacon double cheeseburger and onion rings from Burger King and it was on another level! (Can't have had a Burger King for about ten years)! I mentioned this to my friend and she agreed with me, that a bacon double cheeseburger from Burger King is far superior to anything from McDonald's.

So the question is, do you agree? Do you prefer Burger King over McDonald's? Or are we alone?

(Disclaimer: this is just for fun and I know there are much better/healthier/veganier foods out there)!

Personally a colleague took me for burger king, and I much prefer burger king over mc Donald, however McDonald's, seems cheaper for what could be argued as lower quality food.

BK Bacon double cheeseburger with McDonalds fries!

2x big macs, with 2x cheese burgers,
then a portion of chips from the local chippy. Would be my ideal.

otherwise it's usually the 2x big macs, with 2 cheese burgers and French fries, 🍟🍟
maybe ice 🍦too.

Their vegan “chicken” burger is not cooked with the meat, their plant whopper is.

I've not seen a Burger King other than in train stations, for years. So not had a chance to have one.

McDonald's I can see out the window, not better but available.

I don’t know how they cook it but when ordering they always make a point of advising that the plant-based whoppers are cooked with the meat, and that the only vegan burger they sell is the fake chicken one, which is not.

I love Burger King!!! Don't have one locally so it's a proper treat, chicken royale or whopper with cheese. Hmmmmm.

Definitely. The chicken one (Vegan Royale, just googled it) is really nice as well.

Ok, so everyone prefers Burger King, which begs the question why aren't there more?! (Thank god there aren't more... I'm getting hungry just thinking about it)

I prefer BK though we don't have one near us ... however I still haven't forgiven them for taking the mushroom double Swiss off the menu about 25 years ago!

I guess once a franchise gets so big, it pretty much to big to fail, and then they would have more purchasing power to build stores ect, and after a while that store is almost expected in every town. (I could be wrong)

I prefer McDonald’s. I don’t like the vegetarian royale at BK and the plant based whopper is cooked with the meat ones. Their chilli cheese bites are cooked in meaty oil. It’s a shame that they don’t make their potentially vegetarian products actually vegetarian.

Burger King. . Much prefer the proper onion, tomato and lettuce on a BK. then the skimpy chopped stuff covered in sauce with MD.

Loved the Bean burger and the mushroom Swiss too. But so expensive ( like the cost of an actual meal in a cafe) and not easy to find.

love an occasional Burger King treat! So much tastier than maccie d’s. Controversially, I even prefer their fries! Haven’t had one for years though.

BK. But there's only one out of the city and although its only 4 miles its the worst 4 miles traffic wise. So maybe go 1 a year.
Mac d. Well there's 6 within a 3 mile radius one being near the end of the rd.

I would like to have a mix of the two.

I would go to BK for a frozen Fanta and chicken nuggets but go to McDonalds for my burger and chips.

And I love the BK Chicken Royale. Sadly, my nearest BK shut a while ago. Nearest one is half an hour away - not worth the time or petrol.

BK hands down BUT as others have said McDonald's fries.

Our BK in town closed down as it's above a train station which is being refurbished and extended and we are getting a drive thru <fist pump> which has ended up delayed due to covid but there's one a few miles away which is also a drive through and next door to a McDonald's - the queue for McDonald's is unbelievable whereas there's never anyone in BK! I cant fathom it?! The food is far superior but lots of people seem to prefer McDonald's.

That's because it's cooked on the same plate as the meat ones 😉 BK do say this.

Prefer BK everything, however every time we have one delivered the bum falls apart like it's stale 😕
