DH won't close the Windows!

Just a rant really... I heard on the news that the advice for hot weather is to close your windows once it's hotter outside than inside (and to keep curtains closed).

Told DH, who said "Pffft, that's stupid" and opened every window and door. So now it's absolutely boiling 🥵

Im working from home; he's off today so lazing about and doesn't really care how hot it is.

Anyone else unbearably hot and need to rant?

There's a reason they have shutters in lots of hot places.

Keeping the sun out and the windows closed makes a massive difference. I have the sun shining straight on to the front of my house in the morning and the back all afternoon and evening and I've managed to keep it quite bearable today even in the worst affected rooms. No sweating going on in my house.
