Who loves your dog, home and garden, isn't much of a drinker or a traveller, what would you like for your birthday?! Budget about £20.

Fancy teas to drink in the garden.

NotMeNoNo · 15/07/2022 21:28

Oh and a posh water bottle as I don't have one but I'm really fussy and would like to pick my own!

Also some Turtle doves gloves (remember it will eventually be winter)

Basically by this age I don't want any more rubbish in my life, I'd rather have one great £20 thing than a bagful of £2 things.

HelenHywater · 15/07/2022 21:34

I'd love a house plant
Nice mug /good coffee
Nice chocolates
a book maybe

Mrsjayy · 15/07/2022 21:38

I took my friend who meets this criteria for a nice afternoon tea to the garden centre sandwiches, cake and a mooch about she loved it.

SortingOffice · 15/07/2022 21:40

Take me out to lunch. Much more of a treat than a present.

Twattergy · 15/07/2022 21:41

Hardback book
Nice smelling candle
Posh shampoo or conditioner or body cream or bath oil (£20 for just one item or its not posh enough)

grassisgreener1 · 15/07/2022 21:54

Out for high cream tea and a mooch round the garden centre x

ohblowmedown · 15/07/2022 21:58

A nice plant for the garden (rose or other bush).
A voucher for afternoon tea. Or voucher for the lovely cafe at my favourite garden centre.
A nice bracelet or earrings.
Luxury body wash and moisturiser.

I don't know what I'd want, maybe food but I'd like this lady as a friend!

I never meet like-minded people...

Tomnooktoldmeto · 15/07/2022 22:10

I am and it’s my birthday on Monday, can you make it rain and not be hot because that’s all I really want

other than that, yes to a nice Bridgewater mug, water bottle or plant, I collect hydrangeas…

SilentHedges · 15/07/2022 22:33

I'm an early 50s wannabee minimalist so I wouldn't want "stuff". I'd never use any product tested on animals, so often get "products" I have to give away. I've been bought garden plants before that don't match my wild planting theme at all. So I'd either like to go out for lunch, or for the garden, a ladybird house, bug hotel, solitary bee hive type of thing. I sound do fussy, but you did ask.

thebear1 · 15/07/2022 22:36

I would rather do something with my friend than have a gift, so tea and cake or light lunch out. This is what my friends and I do.

Mollymalone123 · 15/07/2022 22:38

sounds just like me and I’d be thrilled with either a garden token or a plant for the garden

user1471538283 · 16/07/2022 08:22

Taken out to lunch. I have enough stuff and anything I need I buy.

I'm all about experiences, big or small.

Rowgtfc72 · 16/07/2022 14:22

Work had a whip round for my 50th. I bought a rose tree with some of the money.

WaveyHair · 16/07/2022 14:25
