Who loves your dog, home and garden, isn't much of a drinker or a traveller, what would you like for your birthday?! Budget about £20.

She doesn't do the gardening, her DH does. She likes sitting in it having cup of tea 😂 some good ideas here though!

You could be my friend but I've just had my (50th) Birthday. It may sound rubbish but I love getting garden centre vouchers. I received several and bought trees and expensive plants I probably otherwise wouldn't have bought with each. It also means every time I look at them I have a memory of the person who paid for it.
I don't want trees and plants bought for me because I will have a specific space in mind and you can't just stick anything anywhere.
Anything for my dog will only last at most a couple of years at most. He has everything he could possibly need and likes to choose his own toys.

Luredbyapomegranate · 15/07/2022 20:35

Maybe a neck fan given the weather.

would make sitting the garden and walking the dog more comfortable

Mabelface · 15/07/2022 20:41

Look on Etsy for the mug. My big sis got one which had me and my cat painted on it.
I love fluffy blankets, cosy pyjamas, amazon vouchers, marvel tee shirts or head scarves, just eat vouchers, lovely bath stuff, posh hand cream.

Samarie123 · 15/07/2022 20:45

Some essential oils

KittenKong · 15/07/2022 20:47

Chocolate. Nice plant pots. Tomato plants (yes I am obsessed with them). Case for my phone or iPad. Book on silversmithing. A scary with animals on it. A nice notebook. A bat pendant.

someone above mentioned sleep headphones (mine are in an eye mask) - oh yes these are great.

whatisforteamum · 15/07/2022 20:51

A rose bush for the garden.
Decent herbal teas and border biscuits.
Candles of any size or scent.

Plinkton · 15/07/2022 20:51

A pair of silver earrings would do me

AssignedSlytherinAtBirth · 15/07/2022 20:51

Chocolate. A book.

spongedog · 15/07/2022 20:52

Please dont laugh but for that budget of £20 I bought posh teatowels and some extra bits. The posh teatowels are £9-12. They are lovely. But really!! I guess small production, artisan etc pushes the price up.

CarrieMoonbeams · 15/07/2022 20:52

A 6 month subscription to Country Living magazine (currently £9.99 from Hearst magazines) and a nice bottle of wine.

Trinidading3 · 15/07/2022 20:53

A beautiful plant from a garden centre....

Cameronnorrieisabitofalright · 15/07/2022 20:53

Teapot and a nice cup please!

TrueNorthernBird · 15/07/2022 20:54

Box of bulbs from Farmer Gracy, to arrive in Oct / Nov for planting season (and a cheapy £2 geranium from a supermarket with a card detailing the above)

CarrieMoonbeams · 15/07/2022 20:55

Shit, sorry, just remembered she's not really a drinker. In that case, instead of the wine, I'd make up a little hamper with some fancy crisps, chocolate and a biscuit for the dog.

ZiggysTarbrush · 15/07/2022 20:56

House or garden plants or nice big pots. Perennials like acers or roses

Whattoread · 15/07/2022 20:57

A book

Flowers

Bird and Blend Tea

Chocolate

Sunnytwobridges · 15/07/2022 20:58

I love cake so a delicious cake would be perfect. Outside of that I'm picky about gifts so I would love a Starbucks or Amazon giftcard.

HuntingoftheSnark · 15/07/2022 21:02

I love scented candles and only ever buy myself the cheap sort, often tea lights. So a proper luxury one is my ideal gift.

Cuck00soup · 15/07/2022 21:05

Moisturiser and/or shower gel to match my favourite perfume.

Book tokens. Yes really.

Properly posh chocolates or nice wine.

100problems · 15/07/2022 21:06

Yes! Take me out for coffee and cake to a place where we can walk the dog after.

birdsinthegarden · 15/07/2022 21:06

A David Austin rose.

maddiemookins16mum · 15/07/2022 21:10

A lovely throw (for the winter 😊😊) or maybe a cream tea by post.
