Yes! I never heard of Disturbed until reading this thread, went to listen to their version of Sound of Silence and.... it's like a very bad spoof.

The White Stripes - I'm Shakin'. It's impossible to stay still when you hear it. The vocals aren't as good as the original but the faster tempo and drive in the bass really hits the spot.

I have recently discovered Justin Hawkins' You Tube channel and I'm a bit in love with him-he can do no wrong .

I have just had a bit of a listen for research purposes and have concluded that the actual sound of silence is better than listening to Disturbed singing that.
