Benefits of not sending a toddler to nursery..

Fortune enough to be a stay at home mum to a toddler, absolutely loving it. Don’t want to nor need to send her to nursery. Am I holding her back learning to share/play with other etc or is she just as good with me?

Ours only went half days a bit before school age to get used to being away from me.
Even that's not given, my friends child went to nursery for 18months and was still sobbing going into nursery most days and then school.

But No nursery its not necessary at all if you are doing things at home with them and they mix with other kids at groups etc.

Obviously you are not that way inclined, send them to nursery.

I was a SAHM. My children didn't go to nursery. They did do lots of activities though. Doesn't Eem to have held them back.

It sounds more like you are asking MM rather than other way round.

Glad you’re happy. Suspect this won’t go down well as it’s pretty much a brag about what a great mum you are and how fab it is you can afford not to work.

Jesus christ get a grip!
How is this bragging? I'm also fortunate to stay at home as me and husband cut down on everything as nursery is so expensive! It's not free in Wales. I work a 12 hour shift 1 day a week which my parents help to look after my 18 month old.
I too wonder if I'm being selfish keeping my toddler at home as I also love having her but don't want to be holding her back.

To completely shame this woman for asking a question is so shitty.
