How much do you pay for a hygienist scale and polish?

Mine want £77 for a 40 minute appointment. It's cheaper to get the dentist to do it as a level 2 treatment. I was expecting it to be around £45 but almost £80 is ridiculous.

Does anyone know if you can book it like you'd book a nail appointment? Like in isolation? I've got nhs dentist but they don't clean at my place.

I've been wondering that as well!

£22.80 because I'm very lucky to still have a nhs dentist and they do it as part of my 6mth visit - we do travel to the city we used to live in for it though so it's a day trip and we all have our appointments the same day. Luckily we've never had any real dental problems.
The dentist in our village charges £50 but you have to pay £150 a year to be a patient or it's included if you have a membership plan so pay £16.50 a month (min sign up 12mths)

Same.

around 50€
depending how much time is needed.
it's a log more thorough than a scale&polish ime.
money well spent, especially if you have issues with your gums.

I hadn't been since before Covid - last dentist gave me 8 injections just to clean my teeth - felt faint afterwards and it took 4 hours to recover 😣

After a friend's recommendation I found a lovely new one.

A large filling was damaged and tooth breaking around it - he gave me 2 injections - cleaned & polished my teeth replaced filling and repaired my tooth.

Total cost - €120 but more importantly no pain no swelling and no stress.

Private - Ireland

Pre Covid it was £48. Now it's £75. Insane prices

£65 at an NHS dentist, London suburb. I live miles away now but still travel back there every 6 months

About £60 in Wales. Not provided on the NHS anymore so had to pay for it privately with my same NHS dentist.
