I have not bought any new knickers in at least 3 years and I think it's time!

I have often seen M&S knickers recommended here.

What are your favourite styles and why?

Tyia!

Yes. Very uncomfortable under trousers when they move around and bunch up so much. (Haven’t bought for about 3 years as boycotted M+S since then.). I don’t have the same issues with the likes of Next etc.

Their bikini-style knickers are definitely too big at the front, I'd 2nd that.

I got some recently and they're all shiny.

I have one pair of nice comfy cotton ones left - where can I get lovely old fashioned standard cotton pants ? Not shiny stretchy things ?

HomeprideSaucy · 17/04/2022 23:01

@PurpleToeNail

The issue with M&S multipack cotton knickers is the frickin' ugly colours/patterns
I only wear black!
EatSleepReplete · 18/04/2022 17:32

I shall definitely look in John Lewis next time I can.

M&S fall apart after a few washes. Cheap and badly made. Boux Avenue last a good while. There's always a multibuy offer on a range of styles.

HRTQueen · 18/04/2022 17:47

I like M&S midi ones with the lace

I used to like Sainsbury’s but recently they have been falling apart

@NrlySp

I brought some M&S knickers this week and I’m quite happy with them. Went for the full brief. Yes the material is thinner than in the past but they are comfy and a nice colour
Yes, you will find them okay for a while...

I gave up on M&S a while ago. Thin, yes. Falling apart (from the waistband) oh yes.

Such a shame they've gone "cheap suppliers" and "same selling price".

I still have older M&S stuff in good nick, whilst I'm throwing away newer stuff. So sad...

ButtockUp · 18/04/2022 18:03

Stopped buying them years ago.
Really sad about it as I'd worn M&S underwear since I was a child.

Turned 50 or so and I started to notice how baggy they got and the elastic would come apart from the fabric. Plus holes near the gusset would appear.

Sad really.

Foxyloxy1plus1 · 18/04/2022 18:52

I’m not mad about M&S knickers, but I do have them because I don’t want to spend loads on underwear. The packs have waist elastic that is a bit narrow and harsh, but a larger size is too big. I’d like to be able to afford Sloggi or similar.
