Woman thrown off Jet2 plane after screaming at other passengers due to noise from babies and slapping others and attempting to open the door. Flight had to be diverted to Vienna.

Lifetime ban. £5000 fine. Maybe she will use the money for veneers to be done in Turkey to pay her fine!

Batshit.
@BIWI of course it’s not! No reason for alcohol to be served on flights. It’s not good idea for anyone to drink on a flight and it would make a big difference to behaviour.
Only in your opinion. It’s irrelevant anyway as airports and airlines are not banning alcohol anytime soon.

Turkish / Indian doctors and dentists are often of a far superior standard to UK ones. Just cheaper and without the dubious cost vs benefit morals of NHS medical professionals. My nephew is only alive today because Indian doctors used proton beam therapy for his brain tumour (the NHS just gave him two years to live and refused to even try it). It’s because of ‘cheaper’ doctors that he is now cancer free for 3 years and counting.

@AuntieMarys

She was pissed before she got on the plane . They shouldn't have let her on
I have seen many clearly drunk people being let on planes. The cabin crew are obviously aware.

More often than not it's stag or hen dos. Sometimes it's people trying to cope with fear of flying. I have no idea what the situation with this woman was.

When I went to Istanbul I couldn't initially work out why there were youngish men with bloodied bald heads walking about everywhere. It was only after a couple of days that I found out about the hair transplant industry there. I was terrified that I'd end up sitting on a plane back home behind one of these men, because it really did make me feel quite queasy.

Rumour has it certain routes have a reputation but from what I’ve seen the vast vast vast majority of passengers can cope with flights, even ultra Longhaul flights, without either ending up three sheets to the wind, or threatening to open doors or having a strop at other passengers and the crew…so I don’t think a complete alcohol ban on flights is anything like a proportionate response.

Also banning booze wouldn’t be a perfect solution…sometimes alcohol isn’t in the reason for some people’s behavior, people can be unfit to fly (and denied boarding) for reasons other than drink.

Vile behaviour. Got off lightly. So offended by noise? She seems to be making rather a lot of noise herself with that massive gob.

I read about another guy who has been jailed, also flying from Turkey. He was non violent but had vomited and was very very drunk. He has been jailed for 12 weeks. I dont get it. Surely this woman behaviour was worsem
