Listening to Classic fm today(everyday) Vivaldis four seasons came on. My dd immediately started laughing and it set me off.
Xh hated the fact that he had to get up for work while we remained in bed for another couple of hours. Hugely resented it. So he would set his alarm to play this really loudly every morning, get up leaving it on and go downstairs and put the radio on. Loudly.
Now he no longer lives here dcs and I never have to listen to that shite again.

Receiving a NIvea gift box for xmas - the same as he bought his elderly dm. I have never ever used cream.

I don't have to listen to the monotony of 5 days of bloody cricket.

Actually I haven't had any sport on my TV in 6 years .. Bliss

Everytime I gave birth turned up really late at visiting times empty handed. Other ladies were getting flowers/chocs or even just some snacks/juice to keep them going. I got nothing. I remember with our youngest dc I cried so much when he left that a midwife took pity on me and moved me into a private room.

Some of the milder things he did was 3-4 hour long bath meaning me and DC couldn't use the toilet during that time. He did it on purpose.

Slept on the sofa 3 or 4 times a week and slept late (like 1pm late) so when we all got up we had to tiptoe round until he decided to wake up or he'd be in a vile shouty mood.

Caused a row on a Wednesday so was setting up to be on the piss from Thursday and then wouldn't come home till Sunday.

Ah mine did this too.

Could not go out for a drink without getting absolutely rat arsed. Was arrested a couple of times. Meaning everytime he went out I would be lying awake worrying what state he would come in.
Spoke like crap to waiting staff and always found something to complain about. Even his twatty family hated this.

Xsil tried to kill herself and when I suggested we go see her in hospital told me "he hardly knew the woman" She had been with his brother for 25 years.

My ex used to rince mince if he cooked with it, I don't mean draining the fat, I mean literally rincing cooked mince with water

Took out credit cards and loans in my name then left me to pay them off. It's so nice to be in control of my money and accounts!!
