Freddie Mercury is the greatest 'FRONT MAN' imo. That man could hold an audience in the palm of his hand. Oozed sex and charisma.

Oh dear Lord yes. I’ve been in love with him since I was 10. I’m now 45. DH and both DSs find my obsession rather amusing and the DSs refer to him as “that Dutch singer you’re obsessed with”. Yes, they are fully aware that he’s Norwegian.

I'm finding this thread fascinating, the number of repeat answers especially.

I can't agree with recent Brett Anderson sorry. For me they are too considered and sanitised live now. Not in any way advocating drugs but he was way sexier when he was less yogic and mindful.

Wasn't expecting so much love for Trent Reznor either. I would love to see them live to test out his appeal in person. I watched footage of their tour with David Bowie the other day - Trent was a frantic hot mess dripping with sweat and smashing at his keyboard, while Bowie was stood next to him all glacial and not a hair out of place.
