Never have I ever fancied this person, but this particular appearance gives me the fanny gallops

Paul McCartney. I've never ever had even a flutter, in fact he's the opposite of what I find attractive, but cripes in this video he really gives me the gallops, particularly at 39 seconds.

What are your never have I evers?

@NoSquirrels… ahhh the very beautiful Nureyev.

Cocolapew · 20/02/2022 22:58

Mackenzie Crook in the first series of The Detectorists with longer hair.

MrsBobBlackadder · 20/02/2022 23:02

Blackadder II. Hence my username Grin

MrsSkylerWhite · 20/02/2022 23:02

Loving him as Wirzel probably makes me very, very strange indeed Grin

(This thread has taught me that I have very - very - diverse taste Grin)

Bortles · 20/02/2022 23:03

John Malkovich in Dangerous Liaisons

MyOtherCarIsAPorsche · 20/02/2022 23:03

Always fancied a bit of Sean Bean in Sharpe.

His voice still gives me the good old fanny gallops.

I once listened to a recording of him reading Wordsworth's poetry on the radio ....

PerditaPerdita · 20/02/2022 23:10

Ringo looked lovely.

Yes, Paul seemed entirely unrecognisable.

I'm wary of finding someone momentarily attractive when I usually don't. It means I've drunk waaay too much rose ...

DickMabutt73962 · 20/02/2022 23:12

@Bortles

John Malkovich in Dangerous Liaisons
Oooh, John Malkovich in the Walking on Broken Glass music video, which was based on his character in Dangerous Liaisons (I've not seen him in that)

😍

Ohyesiam · 20/02/2022 23:15

I love this video, it’s the Beatles last ever performance.
I love all the guys in suits and flat caps watching, in sharp contrast to the fur coats and long hair of the Fab Four. We are so used to that now but it must have been so ground breaking then.
And yes, 39 seconds.

EnormousSexyCrimeUnit · 20/02/2022 23:18

@ImInStealthMode Jonathon Rhys Meyers at a very specific point in the opening title sequence of The Tudors, where he looks directly to camera and widens his eyes knowingly. Blistering.

3luckystars · 20/02/2022 23:20

Wow I enjoyed that!!

Marmelace · 20/02/2022 23:22

@MorganSeventh

Rowan Atkinson as Blackadder 2 has to be the epitome of this. Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn, the runner up.
Rowan Atkinson in Keeping Mum, had me looking at him in an entirely different manner.
NashvilleQueen · 20/02/2022 23:27

I have spent years being a bit mean about Macca because I only saw him on the 80s era. Get Back has been a revelation and I am completely obsessed with him. I love how he gets a little bit more swagger when he sees the police arrive.

ImInStealthMode · 20/02/2022 23:30

@EnormousSexyCrimeUnit

I've never actually watched the Tudors, which given I've met and lusted over both Johnny and Henry is probably a bit odd BlushBlush

SchoolWillBeUpShitCreek · 20/02/2022 23:33

Jean Reno, but only as Leon
Jon Travolta, but only as Vincent Vega
John Thaw, but only as Morse
Craig Charles, but only as Lister
Irish Elba but only as Luther

MrsSkylerWhite · 20/02/2022 23:34

Jean Reno is a God.
This thread is supposed to be about unlikely throbs, yes?

tkwal · 21/02/2022 00:03

Harrison Ford in Sabrina and Working Girl (but only those 2)
Kevin Spacey in house of cards first 2 series (please don't hate me)
Absolutely all the time, David Bowie, Alan Rickman , Colin Firth, Sean Bean, Tim Curry, Freddie Mercury, Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery

BlackeyedSusan · 21/02/2022 00:08

ah yes 39 seconds, I see what you mean...

Mwnci123 · 21/02/2022 01:02

David Tennant in Jessica Jones. He plays such an evil character but the fanny wants what it wants.

Mwnci123 · 21/02/2022 01:05

Also, yy to DCI Gene Hunt.
I like Viggo Mortensen in the Cronenberg films and not at all in LOTR, so you're all quite wrong there, I'm afraid.

BorisKilledMyHusband · 21/02/2022 01:17

Robert Carlyle only in The Full Monty.
Robert Downey Jr in Ally McBeal

NETSRIK · 21/02/2022 06:41

Martin Rohde in The Bridge. His laugh. Phwoar.

LadyFanny · 21/02/2022 07:09

Grin Grin Grin

Can't argue with the gallops.

Benedict cumberbatch as Sherlock. But only in the scene where he comes in through the window and shakes the glass out of his hair. And there's a fuck boi on tiktok who did a video reacting to a woman lip syncing to a dirty dancing track. Dear lord alive. 😳
