Never have I ever fancied this person, but this particular appearance gives me the fanny gallops

Paul McCartney. I've never ever had even a flutter, in fact he's the opposite of what I find attractive, but cripes in this video he really gives me the gallops, particularly at 39 seconds.

What are your never have I evers?

Philip Glenister as Gene Hunt in ashes to ashes. Nothing about the character should be attractive, yet I still 100% would.

LadyFanny · 20/02/2022 13:28
Tom Hiddleston. Seen him in loads and felt nothing until I saw him dance here;
It's the thrusting at 20 seconds isn't it?

I agree with you about Paul, he has quite delicate features so the big black beard makes him more manly.
I've been down a bit of a sixties music rabbit hole myself, probably triggered by watching the Beatles footage and my surprising lust object is Eric Burdon (of The Animals) but only @1970/71 when he had long hair. It's the combo of the deep Blues voice with the debauched appearance, he just looks "dirty" IYSWIM.
He had a very cool funky band at the time too.
Strangely I've gone off Jim Morrison who I worshiped in my teens.

Russell Crowe in Gladiator and nothing else before or since.

Gene Hunt would be filthy in bed.

Definitely agree with a Hugh Laurie as House and Tom Cruise in rock of ages.

Also Hugh Grant in Bridget Jones’s diary. Never fancied him in anything else. He’s an utter arsehole but I so would.

PermanentTemporary · 20/02/2022 13:34

Ooh. Yes to Russell Crowe but for me only in Proof of Life and nothing else. Perhaps helps that I admire any man who is having to put up with Meg Ryan.

StCharlotte · 20/02/2022 13:39

@JovialNickname

Cillian Murphy in Peaky Blinders! Don't fancy him at all in any other context, only as Tommy Shelby.
Absolutely. Actually find him faintly repulsive in real life. Weird.

(I'm sure he speaks very highly of me!)

Ha ha yes! And this.
Bloatstoat · 20/02/2022 13:45

Leonardo DiCaprio in Blood Diamond. Can't stand him usually, and I was in my teens when he was in titanic and everyone was obsessed with him, couldn't see it then or in anything else.
Love Alan Rickman as Snape, but I love him in anything so that doesn't count!

Velvian · 20/02/2022 13:48

Benedict Cumberbatch in Parade's End and Matthew McConaughey in Ed TVConfused. Neither in anything else.

@NoSquirrels

Very much here to agree with Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn and in no other circumstances whatsoever.
Ooh, I agree! I was positively swooning when he does his speech in the last film. Crikey.
IglesiasPiggl · 20/02/2022 13:57

McKenzie Crook as Worzel Gummidge 😂 Not as an actual human in anything else though!

See also John Thaw as Jack Regan in The Sweeney.
SwissCheeseRentedChildren · 20/02/2022 14:02

Machine Gun Kelly, but only as Tommy Lee in that Motley Crue biopic.

NETSRIK · 20/02/2022 14:08

Robbie Coletrane in Cracker.

Ah see I have had a thing for PG in all sorts of roles so I don't count for the purposes of this thread.
NETSRIK · 20/02/2022 14:09

And Peter Capaldi in The Thick of It

EdithGrantham · 20/02/2022 14:12

Definitely Aragorn, when he goes through those doors 😍

Tillymintpolo · 20/02/2022 14:14

Yes to all of these, also Cary Elwes in the princess bride but absolutely nothing else, and Ben affleck in Pearl Harbor

raspberryjamchicken · 20/02/2022 14:14

Colin Firth in the wet shirt.

Orlando Bloom in the blonde wig as Legolas.

Periodworrier · 20/02/2022 14:17

Benedict cumberbatch as Sherlock.

Thewindwhispers · 20/02/2022 14:17

Cary Grant in A Princess Bride.

Russel Crowe in Gladiator. Does nothing for me in other movies but my god it works in Gladiator.

ExactlyThis · 20/02/2022 14:18

William Fichtner in Armageddon!

Amen.
