I'm in the North West. All calm here.

Ach, its all because of Michael Fish and the storm of '87. We are expected to constantly be on tenterhooks just in case something big happens. I've had 2 years of waiting for everything to go to pot. Had enough now.

Ahem. Black country, grey and boring.

Jet2021 · 18/02/2022 13:56

Really wild here now. Am in a metal building & feels like the roof is coming off! 😲

TheCountessOfGrantham · 18/02/2022 13:58

South west. Very windy. Extremely worried that the giant willow tree next to my house is about to come down

Tigersonvaseline · 18/02/2022 14:05

How much longer

Where is kitten? She usually does weather.

JellybabyGina87 · 18/02/2022 14:06

Liverpool. Raining on and off this morning. Wind has really picked up over the last hour.

hels71 · 18/02/2022 14:07

South West here. Has been very windy. Trees down all over the place.

She has her own thread on the weather board. Been running since yesterday.
Fedupbuyer · 18/02/2022 14:09

Calm an sunny,south Yorkshire

GiantKitten · 18/02/2022 14:11

Rural East Lancs.
Bit blowy, bit rainy, currently.
We very rarely get extreme weather here.

prettyteapotsplease · 18/02/2022 14:12

East Midlands here - mostly we tend to escape the worst of it but it's been horribly windy and standing by the windows (which were on the 'night latch') you could feel the cold wind so I've shut them more securely now and it's made it quieter and warmer. The rain is absolutely pelting it down now so I'm staying put. Proper horrible. A few small tree branches have come down in an exposed car park, thankfully that's it so far.

slavetothekittens · 18/02/2022 14:13

Wild in East Cheshire, wind absolutely howling and rain battering the windows. Most of my garden fence at one side is down.

StiggyZardust · 18/02/2022 14:15

Rural Surrey, it's quite windy with clouds and blue sky, no rain. DHs weather station says the strongest gust was 38mph. I think there are trees down nearby.

Porfre · 18/02/2022 14:18

NW

A bit windy with rain. Very rarely anything interesting happens here.

It just rains a lot usually

Fedupbuyer · 18/02/2022 14:20

Scratch my last comment the wind has appeared an blown my bin down the road.

rainrainraincamedowndowndown · 18/02/2022 14:36

Very very windy but sunny. A lot of things bashing about in the garden, and sounds like house will fall apart. Very weird weather indeed.

H1978 · 18/02/2022 14:36

West Yorkshire. It has been calm and a bit sunny this morning but since midday it’s been raining heavily and the wind has picked up slightly.

Adarajames · 18/02/2022 15:56

Well the calm didn’t last and it’s been mad windy all morning, and we’ve lost the roof off the new annex, and various sections of fencing have also crashed Shock

Scarby9 · 18/02/2022 15:57

Windy! Alternate blue skies, torrential rain and hail.
Yorkshire.

zafferana · 18/02/2022 16:09

It's all over here (red area) and I have to say it really wasn't very bad at all. The trees in pots by our front door are still standing and the bark chips are still in the pots! Yes, it was quite windy for a bit, but it wasn't worthy of all the drama and we definitely didn't need to be included in the red weather alert area. Sun is now shining 😎

nannybeach · 18/02/2022 16:14

No wind in the SE, don't know where you are. It's sunny,my phone said wind 40mph, which is rubbish we had a heavy wooden arbour, screwed to large slate tiles,it blew over, still attached to one slab, damaged the back. Have left it laying down.

StillMedusa · 18/02/2022 16:29

West Oxfordshire, very windy, lots of trees down and local roads blocked, and the roof of RAF Brize's biggest aircraft hangar is now scattered around, so the road into town is shut because of the debris!

My kayak (hefty) has been shimmying around the garden very noisily!
