I'm in the North West. All calm here.

Isle of Wight. Was completely still at bedtime but blowing a little now

North west here. It’s a bit gusty but had worse

I live in an absolute wind tunnel in Hampshire, where a moderate breeze prevents me from opening my car door on my drive sometimes, and it's actually not that bad here yet, got the bedroom window open as usual.

London. No rain or wind right now. Probably not till later in the day. I don't think London will feel it much though.

South west Wales here - has been raining heavily all night, but little or no wind to speak of. It's now beginning to pick up and sounds quite blustery but not gale force....yet!

Am anticipating one of our DDogs starting to scratch at the bedroom door (they are both in with us 😉) as he's a nervous little chap who hates stormy weather.....

I am in the South East in Reading and it's all calm here, it really is the calm before the storm.

Looking at the radar forecast for today, we're due some very high winds, and we have an Amber alert starting at 5am, I hope everyone stays safe, especially those in the red alert area. Be careful out there.

I said an hour ago it was calm, the wind is picking up a little, and my dog won't settle.

It's windy on the fylde coast. Raining too.

North yorks coast. Tipping it down and a bit windy

Very windy here in south east, Crawley. Light rain.

Wolverhampton, calm, trees moving a little so a light breeze.

Oxfordshire, wet and the wind is picking up. I’m worried about a couple of new trees in my garden. 🥺

West Midlands, raining a bit, slightly windy.

In Lancashire and it was eerily quiet and still all night. Not even the slightest bit of wind. Weird.

Lincs. Quiet, wet and a bit blowy but ok.

Red warning started here and there is hardly a breeze yet.

South coast of Cornwall. Blowing a proper gale now, an hour ago it was still gusts with breaks in between, the gusts are getting stronger and longer and the breaks between are getting shorter! Clear skies though.

North Hampshire (berks/Surrey boarder) it's a bit windy here now, but less windy so far than it has been all week. But we're now Red & local schools sent Closed email about 3am.

Dry, cloudy but some blue sky. Breezy. Not windy, breezy.

It’s a bit breezy, has been raining but it’s fairly calm now
We are used to windy weather though

West Midlands, there’s been a lot of rain overnight but it’s sunny at the moment although the wind is getting stronger.

I didn’t expect to be able to walk my dog this morning because where we walk is a mix of exposed high ground and woodland but it wasn’t at all windy so it was fine.

Home Counties - a bit windy, sky is blue with a few clouds, no sign of promised storm!
