You’re provided with a house suitable for your family size. A job that will ensure you can afford all the bills and a car if needed. You’re also provided with full medical insurance in needed too.

Where are you going to live and why?

Canada please 🙏

givethatbabyaname · 15/02/2022 21:16

Let me tell all those people thinking California is similar culturally to the U.K. (assuming “here” means the U.K.): it’s not.

There’s very little cultural commonality between almost any of the USA and the U.K., except maybe the North East.

Comedycook · 15/02/2022 21:18

Beverly hills

I've never been anywhere so glamorous and pretty in my life. It's like being in a dream!

BigSandyBalls2015 · 15/02/2022 21:21

If money was no option I’d spend my time between a beautiful flat overlooking Hyde Park in London and a house/flat in sandbanks, Dorset. And also travel a lot.

roastedsaltedpeanut · 15/02/2022 21:39

Vienna
Best of everything without being crass or flashy

frazzledfragglefromfragglerock · 15/02/2022 21:39

Iceland

LoveFall · 15/02/2022 21:41

Kauai. I love it there. I would make friends with all thee honu (green turtle and work to conserve them.

Yell0wSt1ickler · 15/02/2022 22:55

I would just keep travelling round the world
Why stay in one place ?

BudgeUpAnne · 15/02/2022 22:59

Perth or Brisbane

LaBellina · 15/02/2022 23:19
@LaBellina . I totally agree with you re South Africa..beautiful country but my South African cousins are wary everytime they step out of the door and pay a fortune for house security.
It’s sad isn’t it. Such a gorgeous country but the crime risk esspecially for women is too high.

Drywhitefruitycidergin · 15/02/2022 23:32

Munich please. With a beach house on a Greek Island & a crash pad in Zone 1.

Notdoingthis · 15/02/2022 23:34

Cusco, Peru
Climate, people, opportunities to travel, mountains, magic.

louderthan · 15/02/2022 23:38

Brixton. Or Brighton. I'm single and child free so I only need a two bed flat, no interest in gardening. I don't drive so good public transport links would be a must. As long as I was walking distance from a park or the beach I'd be fine.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 15/02/2022 23:47

I want to say Sweden or Sydney but honestly I wouldn’t be happy. London (where I live now) is my happy place. I love visiting these places but soon miss home. I wouldn’t really want to live anywhere else.

Madieracake · 15/02/2022 23:52

Madeira. My favourite place ever. Ideal all year temperature. Beautiful scenery. Just love the whole island.

SusanSHelit · 15/02/2022 23:55

Naples.

Basically paradise

PrisonerofZeroCovid · 15/02/2022 23:56

I've always fancied Boulder, Colorado.

userxx · 15/02/2022 23:56

Giethoorn

PermanentTemporary · 15/02/2022 23:56

Large flat on Piccadilly with a view of the park and a balcony. That'd do me.

AllLopsided · 16/02/2022 00:06

It's a toss-up! Between 1) the Franco-Swiss border where we live now, but in a non-falling down house with a bigger garden, a pool and no neighbours (and a 40% job for me - all I could manage due to ill health); 2) South of France or Italy; and 3) Australia, north of Sydney near the beach - have family within striking distance.

Anystarinthesky · 16/02/2022 05:59

Vancouver, I loved it there, it felt like home.

My great-grandparents emigrated to there but came back to the UK again.

LaBellina · 16/02/2022 08:43

You would end up with tourists literally walking trough your garden and peeking trough your windows because some of them have zero respect for the fact that the village is ordinary folks home and not just a place created for tourism Sad. Sorry to disturb your dream.
Toanewstart23 · 16/02/2022 08:43

Where I do

Whelmed · 16/02/2022 08:44

Close to my parents or in laws.

NiLunNiLautre · 16/02/2022 08:55

@Serena1977

probably some will think it a weird choice but mine is Lanzarote or Majorca.
I love Mallorca! Spend quite a lot of time there as we inherited a small apartment. Fantastic walking and scenery.
