It's the start of the Winter Olympics for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and so I'll be bringing you a few scenes every day.

Today is the opening ceremony. Skater Andrei arrives in the stadium with the Olympic torch.

I was just wondering if the Puddingheads fielded a team , maybe ice hockey is more their thing!

They'd probably end up fighting each other with the hockey sticks!

Sadly, none of the puddingheads have ice skates, so we'll never find out...

I've actually sat down and watched a bit of the real Winter Olympics this afternoon! Enjoyed the snowboarding.

I hope the puddingheads are never spectating. They could cause a lot of problems!

Fortunately the puddingheads didn't make it to the Winter PlaymOlympics!

Although in the ice rink scenes, you may be able to spot various spectators who have appeared in other Playmo threads...

I'm sure they could "acquire" some ...!

Unfortunately the ice skates are part of the Playmo people in most cases, you can't fit separate ice skates onto normal boots/shoes. The exception is with a Playmo person like Andrei who has grooves in the bottom of his boots for the skates to fit into. But the puddingheads have no grooves in their footwear, so can't have ice skates!

I'm a bit worried about the crowd being so close to each other.

I think there's plenty of ventilation though...

Anyone else for a bit of ice hockey?
