It's the start of the Winter Olympics for the Playmobil people in our house...

Today is the opening ceremony. Skater Andrei arrives in the stadium with the Olympic torch.

There will be another event tomorrow morning.

Today is the pairs ice skating. Svetlana and Gennady take to the ice.

Unlike in the real winter Olympics. Watched the figure skating this afternoon, so sad. Don't worry, that sort of thing won't be happening in Playmoland.

I do not agree with what has gone on at all but I felt for that wee lass. Those who are responsible must take the shame.

And back in Playmoland, things are happy and lovely and the celebration it should be.

Today is the bobsleigh. Sven and Lars start pushing their sled down the run.

They jump in!

They finish their slide and are happy with their time!

That's a very bright bobsleigh that Sven and Lars have. It's obviously superfast as well.
