In honour of the great BC I'm starting at Monument and I've got the genius edition out. Doing the Lambeth walk to the tune of agadoo.

Triangulating against the previous entry. High Barnet

NetballHoop · 28/01/2022 21:16

Ravenscourt Park which rules out any shunting West of Putney.

FriNightBlues · 28/01/2022 21:21

Can I say Kew? I know, I know, but what’s a girl to do when Hammersmith bridge is still closed? Anyway, Samantha is training the gardeners there on how to handle their equipment, so I can kill two birds with one stone.

RIP Monsieur Cryer

Bloatstoat · 28/01/2022 21:23

Whether the loop has been vectored from either diagonal or not, I think that could still be considered understruck? Still, I suppose since the cheese gambit of '84 wasn't ruled illegal it could stand. Pressing on then, I'll go Mill Hill East.

He will be greatly missed, RIP.

MyCatHatesEverybody · 28/01/2022 21:40

Kentish Town (like a town in Kent, but not quite)

Minedoes · 28/01/2022 22:11

Out to Wimbledon for new balls

Nextquestionplease · 28/01/2022 22:16

If I can make use of Stannard's variation of 1981, I'll go to the foot of our stairs and then Hainault.

SoMuchToBits · 28/01/2022 22:21

Southfields (which may or may not exist according to ds)...

LynnThese4reSEXPEOPLE · 28/01/2022 22:24

Always makes me laugh, because I am eternally 13. Cockfosters.

jerometheturnipking · 28/01/2022 22:27

I can’t believe we’ve already had Stannard’s 1981 invoked. I’ll double back to Elephant and Castle then.

SoMuchToBits · 28/01/2022 22:28

Waterloo.

AgathaMystery · 28/01/2022 22:47

Bit bolshy but Holborn

FrangipaniBlue · 28/01/2022 22:49

Happy to play a Yorkshire variant; think I shall settle in Settle.

titchy · 28/01/2022 22:56

Yikes that's difficult to follow, as indeed is dear old Barry. I believe Samantha has something special planned though which I'm sure we'll all be looking g forward to.

Has to be Kings Cross.

Helenluvsrob · 28/01/2022 23:03

Has anyone played the bojo variant where the rules apply to you but not meeeee.

If not I will and ….. though it may not be entirely legal , go with Crystal Palace and the extra point for the dinosaur clause ( also available at south Ken )

merrymouse · 28/01/2022 23:05

Turnham Green

Helenluvsrob · 28/01/2022 23:08

@merrymouse

Turnham Green
Oh no. The nausea rule. That’s nasty.
FreiasBathtub · 28/01/2022 23:11

I'll go with Dalston Junction which I think is allowed, given the current phase of the moon and the aforementioned cheese gambit (updated early 2010s to take account of the Orange Line).

R.I.P.

Heathcliff27 · 28/01/2022 23:18

To doff cap to BC I can only make my way to Brent Cross

HazelBite · 29/01/2022 00:03

Well I'll put the cat amonst the pigeons and say Moor Park!

So there!

Cuck00soup · 29/01/2022 08:18

Sneaky. It’s going to have to be a Battersea now.

OP posts:
WiseUpJanetWeiss · 29/01/2022 08:25

Ooh I like the cut of your jib Cuck00soup. From Battersea, and assuming the Yorkshire variant is still in play, I think Baker Street would be permissible.

jerometheturnipking · 29/01/2022 09:05

Christ. Well, we may as well get this next one over with then. Osterley.

WiseUpJanetWeiss · 29/01/2022 09:31

Careful now or we'll end up in you-know-where. Unless you were playing the Fifth Saturday amendment (section 4.5), which might be disputed, I believe a rapid progression to Heathrow Terminal 5 is advisable at this point.

northumberlandavenue · 29/01/2022 10:04

There is no Battersea station. It is Battersea Power Station station.

So we go back to Moor Park under the reversion rule. Which was a clever move I think. Using the aborted extensions rule I can move to Watford Junction and then on to Headstone Lane.

RIP Barry Cryer and also Tim Brooke-Taylor. I am sorry I haven't a clue of all the people who played the game of games with them.
