This is one of my favourite topics of conversation. It can be anything you like, no rules, but ideally small, petty, and lighthearted. It usually is things that aren't already illegal, but it can be, as not all laws get followed. It can be anything you want!

Even the supermarkets are at it - Morrisons shop floor staff wear t shirts pointing out that they were key workers feeding the nation in the 2020 pandemic. Well yes, and I appreciate people going to work but it doesn't sit right with me that big business is using a pandemic to self promote or that done people are superior in some way for doing the job they were paid for!

1. People chewing with their mouths open, people slurping food or drink, people who bang cutlery off their teeth. Exceptions made for those with extra needs where this is not practical for them.

Businesses (including the doctors and dentists) who, when you phone them give you a great big long pre recorded spiel before they will answer the phone. Yes I know already that the answer to my query might be on their popular questions page it won't be though and yes I also know you are especially busy due to covid and also because you never hired enough staff even pre pandemic and no, I don't need a reminder to 'be kind' to your unhelpful receptionist. I live in Wales and get to hear these in both Welsh and English!

When I am queen of the world businesses will just answer the bloody phone or play me some nice music while I wait!

Press the # key and it usually bypasses all the recorded spiel - works for my doctors and pharmacy anyway!
