As above.
This is one of my favourite topics of conversation. It can be anything you like, no rules, but ideally small, petty, and lighthearted. It usually is things that aren't already illegal, but it can be, as not all laws get followed. It can be anything you want!
Lighthearted, if possible!
My list includes but is not limited to,
fireworks
glitter
people spitting
children running at pigeons
balloons
daylight savings time
loud cars and motorbikes
my vacuum running out of battery
having a cold nose.
Please, tell me yours!

I would ban shops and manufacturers from discontinuing lines without proper consultation with consumers, and a decent notice period of one year minimum. Getting us hooked then withdrawing the supply is unforgivable.

monotonousmum · 10/01/2022 22:05

Stupid filters on the phone (Snapchat etc) that are designed to make you look younger/better. Especially when people use them on my kids, really fucking annoying.

MiniPumpkin · 10/01/2022 22:05

People trying to have a 3 way convo on phone. Usually at work I’m on the phone and some rude fucker mouthing to me what I should Be saying. I just ignore. but I’m amazed at how many people do it. I literally say do not talk to me when I’m on the phone 🤣

Splodgerbodgerbadger · 10/01/2022 22:05

Nail biting, I hate the noise DH makes when he does it.

Thatsplentyjack · 10/01/2022 22:06

I would like to ban myself from over eating. It's become a serious problem. I can't seem to stop.

Also jobs with shit pay. Why are some of the most physically demanding jobs, with the longest hours and the shittiest things to do the most underpaid? Why? Life is fucking unfair.

I would either like to ban crows or cats. Whichever of the fuckers came in my back door this morning and ate the dogs food and left a trail leading back out the door. I'm pretty sure it would've been a crow.

I would like to also ban dp from having his phone on loud and watching videos without his head phone AND, ban him from having 2 hour baths where he keeps topping up with hot water. He does this most days. He is also banned from football because his kit and boots absolutely reek and he insists on leaving the fucking boots in MY car everytime he borrows it to go and I have to open the door to that stench to do the school run in the morning.

Actually I think I will just ban dp from this house he's really pissing me off.

Dashel · 10/01/2022 22:07

People who play videos/music etc on their phones without headphones in a public space.

Cc'ing in a persons manager during an email exchange

Untrained dogs running amok

E scooters, at least until they need a licence, insurance and some kind of test can be passed to use one. A 12 year old travelling at close to 30mph on a pavement is not safe.

I'm sure I have more.
