How often do you have a relaxing 'me time' kind of bath?

For me, it's every single evening without fail (unless I'm unwell or there's some hot water issue!). I've done this for as many years as I can remember.

It's not a bath to get clean so I'm not talking about that .. I shower every morning and wash my hair then. This is just to relax and read or look at my phone. I have many bottles of various oils / bubbles/ salts and spend about 45 mins in there

Absolutely never. I detest baths. They make me feel too hot and very sweaty. I like a refreshing shower in the morning and that's me for the day.

I got 20 minutes peace in a bath when in hospital to be induced with DD in 2020! Mid lockdown so DH wasn't allowed in to I was in active labour, so peaceful!

Every night. I love to bathe in bubbles with candles. It's the best part of the day when I relax after work.

Same here, I hate baths. I’ve been in my current home for 5 years and have had a bath once when the shower was broken. I just hate sitting in water. It’s boring AF. I do have some sensory issues around water and drying myself off though, I itch after swimming and showers.

The last time I had a bath was when I'd gone into labour with DC4 who is now 10, I had pgp and couldn't get out again. DH had gone to take the other three to MILs, he got back after about 45 mins got me out after a huge contraction and DC4 slid out onto the bathroom floor about ten seconds later!

We don't have a both anymore. I don't enjoy them generally they're hot and uncomfortable but we do have a hot tub which I love use most days.

So glad to find this thread - I have never found someone who does it every evening like me in RL 😁 I don’t feel like I’m relaxed until I’ve had my hot bath after the kids have gone to bed

Every 7-14 days depending on what the rest of the household are doing - and that’s also how often I manage any sort of bath or shower let alone specifically relaxing soak in the bath!!

Used to be every night, but have eczema now and down to short baths a few times a week.

5 nights a week. The other two I shower so that I can wash my hair.

When I go for a run - that’s it really. It’s not physically relaxing but it is mentally IYSWIM

Do you mean you only shower or bathe once a week/fortnight?

Oh God, never - I detest being immersed in water, baths make me feel ick. A boiling hot long shower though? At least every other day 😁

Never, I hate baths, always have.
I don't actually have a bath now and don't miss it at all.
I feel the same way about hot tubs.
Wallowing in water is not a fun activity.

Maybe once a month in winter if I'm in the mood, never in summer! It feels like a huge waste of water to be honest. The cat is also a pain in the arse whenever someone takes a bath, he has to be there balancing on the edge-not relaxing at all!

Could have written your post, OP. Every night without fail. It's my time to recharge my batteries and lift my spirits. I feel equally energised and relaxed after. Don't feel right if I've not had my bath Xmas Grin

Yep shower and hair wash in the morning…. Evening bath is for relaxing and lots of nice bath products

This is me, I'm in the bath now! Sometimes I've pulled out the plug and realised I haven't washed myself just wallowed for an hour 😂

We used to have a big en-suite with a bath and I’d have one about 3 times a week…it was v private and no one banging on the door to get in.

Now bath is in family bathroom and it’s just not the same,. So maybe once a month.
