It’s Christmas Day! Will you be leaving your house today?

We’re hosting as always plus it’s cold, grey and drizzly outside. I feel it’s unlikely we’ll be heading out of the house at all today. How common is that?

I went to church in the morning and now waiting for some friends to get here so we can go for a walk. It’s cloudy and foggy and rubbish, but at least not too cold.

Furthest I'm going is into the garden to put all the cardboard boxes in the recycling bin

We have walked the dog but that’s it. It’s the first year I haven’t visited people and our first Christmas as a family of three .

The baby is napping and I’m enjoying some quiet before my family arrives. It’s been lovely .

Baltic dog walk, but otherwise no. All of us on the sofa in the warm again now and not moving!

Nope, not left the house. Eating and drinking all day.

Yes, we took the dog to the beach for an hours run about this morning.

Absolutely no chance. Rain is pelting down here and also windy as well. Morning was ok but too busy to go our. Now when dinner has been eaten it's too bas to go for a walk.

we left the house today as we often do for a xmas day walk.

no-one visiting us and not visiting elsewhere as per normal so it was nice to get out for an hour or so.

Went for a walk in the train to get a break from the incessant talking…

Yup. I went on a glorious 3 mile run in my elf hat, wishing dog walkers Merry Christmas.

Went to sort my horse out twice, but other than that, no. It's pretty miserable out there!

I went as far as the shed and the bin beside the house.

DH went to walk d dog, while dd brought ddog as far as the green outside our house, otherwise we've all not left the house today.

Yes we did Church, a walk and then to parents for Christmas dinner. Staying home tomorrow though!

I've not even been out to the bin, after years of having to go out to the Inlaws on. Christmas day it's bliss, it's worth all the work.

I hadn't thought about it but now I've realised I haven't left the house today, I feel really sluggish... I'll be in the gym first thing tomorrow though so will make up for it then!

Nope - it's been drizzly and miserable today so apart from collecting and dropping off my mum we've been cosy in front of the fire.
When the dcs were little we generally had to get out for a quick blast round the park to keep us all sane, but they're teens now and would be horrified at the prospect! Big Boxing Day walk tomorrow though.

Well I haven't and don't plan to in the next 54 mins unless there's a fire alarm or something.

Nope. Shocking weather here, all day. Stayed in our PJs. Played with our new things (mostly the toddler did this) It was so nice!

I'm on my own and as tempting as it was to stay snuggled in my fleece PJs, I got ready and went for a drive to a wee park I like to feed the ducks.

Me and DD13 and DS11 have been in the house all day today. DH was working and finished at 6pm. DS19 has been out to pick up my Mum and Dad and bring them here, he is now out picking up his girlfriend and she will stay here tonight.
We had our Christmas meal yesterday, so today has been relaxed. Cheeseboard, pate, brownies that we made today and takeaway pizza washed down with cava and gin

We went to see family a very short drive away. If we were home, we’d have gone for a walk. I go a bit crazy if I don’t go out!
