Dessert ideas for Christmas meal. Cheesecake?

What are your alternative desserts for your Christmas meal. We won't be having turkey and nobody in the extended family likes mince pies or Christmas pudding.
What would you serve?
They like cheesecake - how could I make it Christmassy?

Sticky Toffee Puddings ( I use the Deila recipe she got from John Tovey) but I don;t do it under the grill . Chop the dates finely , I use some Carnation Caramel Drizzle sauce

Baked Cheesecake with pecan and toffee (chopped)

I'm making saffron parfait with raspberry coulis, it's delicious!!!

I'm doing a chocolate orange cheesecake (chocolate biscuit base and orange flavoured topping) and a chocolate cherry steamed pudding. I may eat both! 🐷🤣

Nigella's Gelato cake with chocolate sauce and fresh raspberries

I've made it today and put it in the freezer, I'll make the sauce on Friday and get some raspberries.

We've had this for the last few years, it's so easy and quick to make and you make it in advance. None of us are fussed about mince pies or Christmas pud.

Love this too 😋

Eggnog cheesecake (with a ginger biscuit crust). Delicious! We have on Boxing Day with leftovers.

RampantIvy · 21/12/2021 22:46

TBH we are always so full that we don't bother with dessert, but if I did I would want something really light like a lemon mousse.

Pavlova, I make a wreath shaped one and cover it with berries. Easy but looks reasonably impressive and is a break from Christmas chocolate.

TeeBee · 21/12/2021 22:55

What about a two-tired cheese cake (different flavours), covered in berries?

timtam23 · 21/12/2021 23:10

I am making a no-bake lemon cheesecake, special request from the DCs who don't like the traditional Christmas desserts. Difficult to make it really Christmassy but I do have some edible gold spray dust stuff so will probably spray a bit of that on.
I've bought an Aldi plum, damson & pink gin Christmas pud for me and DH, we had this last year and it was really nice, not heavy at all and although it's a traditional pudding shape it's definitely otherwise quite different to the traditional puds

I'm doing a black forest pavlova, chocolate meringue filled with chocolate ganache, whipped cream and mascarpone and topped with amareno cherries.

Viennetta is ‘traditional Christmas pudding’ in our house - I’m sure some other posters will know why 😂

Row of sponge fingers
Top with raspberries, preferably defrosted as they are juicier
Top with whipped cream
Do another 2 layers.
Decorate with Christmas/ chocolate decorations
