Cheese in blankets!

Has anyone seen these yummy little treats on the shelves this year? We as a family love them and Christmas lunch just won't be the same without them!
I Have tried Marks, Asda and tescos to no avail

No sign of them in our local big Asda today unfortunately, it was well stocked with chrimbo foodstuff but it seems they aren't stocking them this year

These are my absolute favourite and I think of them first when planning Christmas food . I was in M&S looking for them just last night.

Surely someone has an effective recipe?

I think the cheese strings idea is probably the easiest way to replicate. Otherwise could you grate cheddar and mozarella together, shape it, freeze it and hope you get the right mixture of structure and flavour?

I have never heard of these before and now I need them 😬

I think we need to start a Twitter campaign. I fear they are lost this year but they need to bring them back for 2022!

If you don't find any at Aldi, we use a cheese string in the middle when we make them at home and it generally works well

I brought this up on another thread, I love them! A poster mentioned wrapping a babybel in bacon so I'm going to give that a try if I can't find them this year.

I wish I’d seen this thread last year as I was complaining to my DC I couldn’t get them and they mocked me claiming such a thing does not exist and I must of made it up!!

I find that if you use a cube of cheddar and wrap the bacon around all sides then they don’t leak too much.

They are on the Ocado website this year (out of stock) has anyone seen them in m and s yet?
