What are your relatively healthy addictions?

I am currently addicted to roasted brussel sprouts. I can't get enough of them, especially if I add shallots and red peppers to the tray. Stir fried sprouts with a ton of garlic and black pepper are equally good.

Likewise roasted kale. I try to use minimal oil when roasting but a little makes it so much better. I can eat an entire bag like that.

Crispy baked tofu is another addiction. I just love the texture.

What are your favourite relatively healthy treats?

Apple and peanut butter - lush

GTAlogic · 07/12/2021 15:12

Tea

I could say prawn cocktail crisps but they're not that healthy 😂

FSVin · 07/12/2021 15:23

Dark chocolate - 100%! And pecans. Salted pistachios. Dates. Any kind of berries. I'm having frozen blueberries straight from the freezer at the mo - they last longer and feel like more of a nibbly treat!

Apple juice. Olives.

PuntasticUsername · 07/12/2021 21:18

Home-pickled cucumber and beetroot. Especially the beetroot. So easy to make, and so good.

Also roasted pumpkin seeds with lots of salt and cumin. The salt isn't too healthy but I don't care.

Wildrobin · 07/12/2021 21:23

Potted shrimps from Waitrose. They are about £5 a tiny pot and I have to shop elsewhere I find it so hard not to want them

I absolutely love roasted kale. My other, relatively, healthy treats are zucchini fries (low Carb) and macadamia nuts.. Yummy. I know they're high fat, but they're also low Carb and really bloody tasty 😋
