If you have a smart meter how much do you spend on average per day this time of year?

Just that really, currently spending between £3.50-£4.50 a day can't work out if that is loads or normal.

3 bed house, combi boiler, heating on for about 4 hours a day do a clothes wash every other day, no tumble dryer, cook from scratch once a day but nothing that has the oven on for hours like a roast or whatever.

£8 a day. All electric. Heating on five hours a day. Three bed.

Mines about 8.50/9 a day. CH on about 4 hours a day, tumble dryer and large 4 bed with 4 adults and a child. I don’t think your’s sounds that bad tbf.

£10 averaging a day at the moment. 4 bed Edwardian property, double glazed wooden windows

Not sure - mine is averaging about £1500 a day at the moment! I phoned just to check and they said they are having a problem with them at the moment but our bill will be correct!

This is really interesting, ours has been about £5.50-6.00 lately which I thought was really high, as I'm on mat leave at the moment so home all day but it seems it's not too unusual. Price increases are a nightmare

About £3.50 -£5.00 depending how cold it is heating on low in the day, 3bedroom , washing machine on once a day , dishwasher every other day and heated aired on for about 1hour in the evenings.

£2.00-3.00 I think. £2.47 today and I’d guess that was average based on what we’ve done today.
We have a small, mid terrace, 3 bedroom house which we’re lucky is quite easy to heat as it’s small with big windows on the south facing side so any sunny day it heats up nicely. And there’s only DH, toddler DD and me, so not loads of washing etc.

£4-5 a day, includes wfh but only heat the 2 rooms we’re in. Still cheaper than paying for petrol.

We’re on £10 a day at the moment - recently moved and really need to sort the insulation out! We were previously in a smaller newer house and it was £4 max - so it feels like a very big jump, not helped by moving just as all the gas and electric companies were going bust so no good tariffs to join.

I just looked at our meter and we use £3.75 ish a day on gas and we use £2.00 electric a day we are with utilita.

I’m in a 2 bed period flat but it’s just me and I’m trying to be environmentally friendly and put another jumper on rather than use heating. Usually around £2 per day

I’m bumping this up to see what others are doing. Just had one these fitted a few weeks ago. I try to keep both gas and electric together under £5. Four bed small bungalow.

I don’t have the heating on after the kids are in bed. We have real fires downstairs and I use that and hot water bottles!

About £2-£2.50 a day split between gas and electricity. Really worried about price hikes so have drastically reduced our gas usage. Really could not afford some of the energy bills in this thread!

Ours is around £4-£5 a day with the odd day closer to £6 when we have used the washing machine/dryer a lot.

On average about £435 per day. But surely it depends on whether one has a mortgage or not, care travel, fuel etc and where one shops - Lidl or Waitrose?

£1.85 a day on electricity (wfh, xbox, cooking, washing)
£12 a month on gas (showers, dishes etc)

2 bed, 2 reception house with converted garage into 2 offices

Obviously it'll increase soon though
