I’m last minute driving from Kendal to Hull tomorrow and looking to stop somewhere for the day…. Don’t need to be in Hull until tea time and I’ll be spending the weekend there.

Thinking Leeds or York way, but not overly fussed on a city visit with an 8yr old and 12yr old. Don’t want to go shopping!!!

Happy outdoors/indoors, museums/activities.

Ideas would be great!! Thanks

I know it’s too late but as you might be back over this way again, I would look at Williams den, it’s near north and south cave around 20mins outside of hull and on the way to york.

Yeah, we’ve been there a few times when the kids were smaller… was great fun!

Xscape at Castleford. Just off the M62. Loads of activities for kids of your ages to do and it's indoors so good for all weathers. Lots of lovely places to eat too.
Theres adventure golf, cinema, amusement arcade, trampoline park, aerial adventure, climbing wall, laser quest, snowzone, bowling, escapee rooms and soft play.
There's also the outlet next door too if you fancy a look around there.
