Claims of Hull grooming gang

Has anyone seen this article in SKY about a Hull grooming gang? It is heartbreaking.

That’s just horrendous, those poor poor girls.

Im calling bs on “too much ok the internet for a fair trial” too. Almost definitely most people have no understanding of this.

I am certain it is because if they pull in these gangs that links very quickly get made to “respectable” society and the whole thing unravels. Police who knew but ignored, foster families who knew but didn’t care, social workers who knew but couldn’t make changes, then punters who turn out to be “upstanding member of the community”. And victims themselves will in turn have to be looked after, their mental health and their physical health, how many have std’s unwanted pregnancies and bodily damage; who’s going to take responsibility for that?

No pretend it doesn’t happen then you don’t have to address any of it.

Yes it might be because of links to people with power and influence.

I don’t even mean high rank MP’s or celebrities, more just like 50 members of the local police, 30 teachers, 20 bus drivers. Large numbers of people who are clearly and identifiably guilty of crimes against these woman and girls.

Yes I think you're right. The scale of victims and the systematic failures in protecting them and convicting the perpetrators is just too enormous.

Just to be clear cause i think every last 1 of them should be thrown in jail, and spend a life time on the sex offenders register. Including people who did not rape, or traffic, but who knew and did nothing.

I’m saying that cause I was misconstrued last time I said it, posters got crazy fast.

Yes it would leave Hull and the surrounding areas with a job vacuum but I think that’s better than anyone who thinks a girl quiet enjoyment of life is worth less than their job.

I’m not a solicitor or have a legal background but couldn’t a private prosecution be bought against these men. Surely something can be done if the police will not act. I always thought a Civil case was easier to prove. I would certainly contribute if it was crown funded.

I wonder if Centre for Women's Justice would look into this?

Who would do it though? Nobody in these girls lives seems to care enough to do it in most cases

Some of the text messages referred to the young girl as a white slag or slut. Perhaps that's why the poster thinks they aren't white

I bothered to read the article in full and watch the video. It’s obvious there is a sensitive racial element to this. It’s no coincidence the young girls were white and referred to as white slags and whores. Trying to pretend there is no cultural/racial element to this gets us nowhere even if some of the perps were white British.

Exactly. Avery experienced Foster Family in the end would not take young teen girls because of the revolting men that targeted them constantly.

It was a constant hassle and worry.

The girls were soo damaged and desperately needy thatchy were enticed by these men who knew EXACTLY whom to target outside school,it is appalling, and police do nothing.

We have been continuously told this never stopped happening after Rotherham. There were posts on here that MN deleted when it was raised. Even women claiming that the girls who hit the papers where lying. Women who were raising awareness were attacked and called racist/discredited.

People on this thread taking pains not to appear racist whilst trying to discuss the fact that the grooming gangs are predominately Asian and Middle Eastern backgrounds.

There are so many threads to this issue and why its not being solved, politics, police failure and poor safeguarding in schools and SS
