Just farted in front of a patient

Just that really. Leant forward slightly while standing to examine her & PAARP! Not terribly loud but distinctive, although I tried to cover it up by moving the chair with my foot to make a similar noise

Not smelly thank goodness

I just ignored it & carried on

She (teenage) & her mum will now be trying to decide whether I did or didn't. I have to review her in a fortnight -

By far the best MN fart story is the poster who let out a monstrous fanny fart in a crowded waiting room, then picked up an STD leaflet to hide behind.

My funniest moment ever was in a GCSE exam when someone farted very loudly for about 5 seconds… obviously in a totally silent room.

I honestly had the giggles for the rest of the exam. Certainly lifted the tension.

I can’t think about it even 30 years later without laughing all over again.
