I mean, really John Lewis? What were your designers thinking?!

@SeasonalNamechange

People spend more than that on wine per week. A dinosaur is for life, not just Christmas.

I have one of those, plus his blue brontosaurus friend 😀

John Lewis also do a glass octopus tree ornament, but it's fatally flawed...

SoupDragon · 26/10/2021 13:26

I think, technically, they do a Sextopus.

We have some neighbours that have a Santa thing that attaches to the outside wall. Once, DP mentioned to me that it looks like Santa bending over and pulling his arse cheeks apart... For the last 7 years that is all I can see.
Every Christmas we go for a walk to look at 'Santa's Gaping Arsehole".

Of course he was £12. He has a butt hole. Money well spent opGrin

SylvanasWindrunner · 26/10/2021 18:22

I love JL's bizarre baubles. I get one every year. Off to peruse this year's offerings!

Dinosaurs are definitely festive. We have one in a Santa hat for the top of our tree Grin

SylvanasWindrunner · 26/10/2021 18:32

One Christmas lobster later ...

GlamorousHeifer · 26/10/2021 19:34

Whilst I personally wouldn't have a dinosaur bauble on my (very traditional) Christmas tree I don't think ripping the OP a new arsehole for ger choice of decorations is necessary (see what I did thereWink)

I know 🙁 I've emailed them with a photo in the hope they'll send me a replacement and not to bother sending back the broken one.

That wouldn't even make it through Christmas in my house. Sad
groundcontroltomontydon · 26/10/2021 20:07

a dinosaur butt hole wouldn't be that big, surely
They died out because their tiny brains kept falling out of their massive arseholes

Moonflower12 · 26/10/2021 22:27

@SoupDragon

We need to see his/ her front too.

Saisong · 26/10/2021 22:33

Can I object to the fact it is identifying as a T-rex? Wouldn't get away with this shit in ASDA.

This has made me laugh, and I’m now going to buy one purely because it has a bum hole.

I know it’s half term, but I promise you I am actually an adult.

BarbaraofSeville · 26/10/2021 22:57

Same here. Although I did see something on FB earlier today that might protect the Christmas tree baubles from the particular threat in this house...

LindaLooky · 26/10/2021 22:58

Surprised no paleontologists have already commented tbh, the tyrannosaurus couldn't reach to wipe their arses and got horribly disfigured bumholes.

SnarkyBag · 26/10/2021 23:00

I think he’s lovely even with a disproportionately large anus.
