Recommend me an amazing sandwich - ideally vegetarian

Feel in the mood for a sandwich but what filling? That's the burning question

Don't like beetroot, prefer vegetarian. No to any blue cheeses or ketchup

What would you have?

Honey with cheese is a great combination- try truffle honey with cheese- truly yummy!

Tomato and marmite sandwich on brown bread! Nice with cheddar included too

Pesto, mozzarella, tomato and toasted pine nuts on slabs of fresh granary bread, or a warm baguette with brie and cranberry sauce.

Peanut Butter and either Red Cabbage or Pickled Beetroot.

Avocado, Humus, tuna and olive on brown seeded bread

Pesto, mozzarella, tomato and spinach.

Blue cheese, Red onion and tomato on very fresh baguette 🥪

1. cheddar cheese. celery and salad cream. Totally ridiculously amazing flavour combination
2. emmental cheese, tomato and black pepper

Cheese, rocket and chilli relish!

Goats cheese, red onion, rocket and honey in a toasted bagel.

Oooh falafel, feta cheese, mayonnaise and any salad things you like such as spinach or red onion. I’m hungry!!

Sliced mozzarella, slices of tomato, fresh basil leaves, salt pepper and a few drops of olive oil. Use good quality seeded bread

My absolute favourite sandwich is from M&S, it’s Wensleydale with carrot chutney and is delicious.

I was going to say grated cheddar with grated carrot, lettuce and sesame seeds either with lemon mayo or chutney. Which is not too dis-similar to this.

Felafel, avocado, honey and basil

thought this would be a great thread but the amount of times I have seen hummus or avocado mentioned has made me feel queasy. I must be alone in thinking these are so disgusting.

cherry tomatoes mixed with hummous makes a lovely veg sandwich mix imo

DH made me a soft cheese with roast peppers and roast red onion on a seeded bread yesterday for our picnic. That was good and I'll make that again. I don't know if that has been mentioned though.

Sliced apple and sliced banana - trust me, it’s amazing.

Avocado, Peanut Butter & Bacon/ASDA Plant Based Bacon - tastes nicer with real bacon!

Sliced cheddar, cheese coleslaw and a thick layer of cheese and onion crisps in thickly buttered thick white bread. Scrumptious!

Also a good crisp and salad cream
Sandwich.

I shouldn't have re-read this thread. Am struggling to get to sleep and now seriously debating going downstairs to whip up a sandwich!
