Flat £12,000 😂 by auction, not the usual price. Also 10 miles as the crow flies crosses a major river so that property is a lot further away in terms of driving there. House £35,000 exactly the same as above.

Taking out the river issue cheapest flat is £80k and house £110.

@TattiePants That £10k house is so sad - that child's bike abandoned in the living room and what was obviously an attempt to cheer up the bedroom by painting flowers on the chimney breast.

Let's hope the family who lived there have moved on to a nicer house.

From central London 10 miles brought up 46,000 properties. Couldn’t Wade last all land, garages, shared ownvership, ground rent only etc. But did finally find something in Croydon 10ft x10ft studio for 85k.

I don't know Sunderland (or it's prices) but that looks lovely. Is it a good price for the area? From a London perspective it's mind boggling!

Neither are in my town but are within 10 miles. Both look OK.

I don't understand that £10k one being sold by itself. The whole street is derelict. Surely it would only be bought as a lot by a developer?

Flat for 15k and house (2 bed terrace) for 35k. Barrow-in-Furness.

Actually it is 22k for a flat as the 15k is auction guide. The flats are good flats but in a notorious area.

@GreyhoundG1rl no idea of the area but its close to the hospital, this one seems a bargain too
