Didriksons worth it?

Following on from another thread I've fallen in love with the didriksons Erica parka and just wanted opinions on whether it's worth the £250+ price tag?

I bought the Erika last year and really like it. I got mine for £200 instead of £250. It replaced another Didrikson park which was 5/6 years old and only just starting to look a little shabby. Enjoy wearing yours.

I live my Erika. DH bought it for me last year, and I'm pretty sure we got it for around half price in the Black Friday sale. It was certainly no more than £150ish.

@Peggytheredhen

I have had mine since 2021, it's still going strong and super warm and dry.
I’d hope so too, after less than a year!!😉

@BikeRunSki I do aim for longevity in my coat buying Grin

justabigdisco · 05/10/2021 18:10

Yes definitely worth it. I got mine from Amazon.

I got a Luna last year and it's so good! Warm but not too warm. And keeps me dry!

CottonSock · 05/10/2021 18:20

Oh I have one! But paid half price in sale

Newhorizon21 · 05/10/2021 22:15

@XingMing which summer weight coat do you have?

PickleSarnie · 05/10/2021 22:31

Love them. I do think that their weak point (pretty much the only negative I can think off) are their zips. My first one bust and my husbands one is a bit sticky.

I think you can get replacement zips from didrikson though.

They are lovely and long and the only jacket with arms long enough for me. And totally waterproof and windproof (obviously they do different levels of warmth and waterproofness)

SunscreenCentral · 05/10/2021 22:33

@SoupDragon this happened to my beloved after a good 10 years. I wrote to them and they sent me a zip.

XingMing · 07/10/2021 18:04

@Newhorizon21, I have a Thelma IIRC. Don't know if it's still a current style.

After reading all the recent threads about warm winter coats decided to go for the Didriksons Leya. Arrived today and it's absolutely lovely, really warm!
